Two new NORO yarns for summer

- Two new noro yarns for summer - For Summer 2024, Noro has introduced two new yarns - Kompeito and Natusmeki. Both yarns are super soft cotton blends, but in true Noro fashion, they look completely different, In this video I'll share with you all the details about these two yarns and some patterns that would be great in them. These are not designs that you've already seen in the new Noro magazine, but others I've collected over the years.

There is no noticeable lag between play and speech but there is some focus issue.

Beautiful new yarns and exciting about their expansion into more non-wool as I live in the southwest 😀. Do you have a show talking variegated vs self-striping? I'm curious about the difference, how to tell the difference and how to best use each. I've said before, one thing I love about your show is that you show classics, not just the hottest designs we see everywhere else. You REALLY went classic this time! ha ha 👍

I made a Misurina out of Kompeito and Silk Garden Solo. A lovely yarn. It does stripe out (at least Color 1 does).
It does stripe a bit, but much more subtly than Natsumeke 😀
I think all Noro designs look current I have a good friend named Jenny King who has done published designs for Noro she has also done books for them it I think you would be surprised at what she has designed maybe you could do a podcast on her Noro designs. We live here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.Jenny is all so an international teacher in crocheting and has taught many classes in the USA
Did she used to be named Jenny Watson? If so, I featured many of her designs in an earlier podcast. I would love to interview her. She is one of my favorites.
