This is true, but they do that so they can really support the local yarn stores and many of those stores do have online shops and those often do free shippings at times.

TH-cam is very clear on terms and conditions. Sponsorships do require a whole different box clicked that puts up a pop up as soon as the video starts. YT defines sponsorships as getting paid money for a review. Bigger channels will get paid for them depending on the videos reach, and their subscriber base. So if they did get a product and they are making some $$$ for their review, they have to disclose that or their channel can be reported and removed from the platform.
Collaborations or product reviews do not require anything. However, I like to be 100% honest. I also say when something was sent for a review or even if I have an affiliate link in play. Affiliate links are also something that have to be disclosed, but often not and it irritates the mess out of me when channels bend the rules to benefit them. They grow a lot faster but I am not willing to sell out my integrity for a video. 🤷🏻♀️

Those hooks!!! I was so shocked by how smooth they are! Completely in LOVE with them. Also I love the wood color. I have a thing for natural woods, which is why I have a lot of it in the studio. :)
Oh my goodness all the yarn! I'm knitting with that Laines du Nord right now and it's so soft. Not the tweed but a sport weight. I can't wait to hear what your opinions are.

Love all the yarn! Funny...just recently I've heard comments about crochet and expensive yarn, hand-dyed yarn, and attitudes at lys's. I've also noted some things about the knitting podcasts I watch. So, I'm starting a series soon on crochet wearables with boujie yarns! Can't wait to see your poncho! If I get settled quick enough in the US, I may join you.
