I think his fingers need some restoration.
pait remover should work ... ;-)
😂😂😂😂😂
Thers a thumbnail joke there somewhere but lifes short etc
Thanks Jake, I needed that!
In other words, a manicure
I believe this is 90s matchbox Ferrari f40.
Used to have it. Nice to see someone has a passion to restore old toys.
This looks like an actual, played with toy car.
Not like the fake, highly distressed and dirtied diecasts that garner millions of views.
Good for you. I appreciate the authentic honesty.
Blame MrRescue lmao
I'm glad someone actually addressed that
Yeah I don’t get those, I don’t watch them, only real restorations
Top Drives Pack Openings I feel some of those are brand new things they just stuffed in the mud five minutes before they took a picture for the thumbnail.
yup, looks like my old Matchbox when I was a kid :D
This is what I love about this channel - the fact that you'll do straight-up restorations like this one (brilliant, btw) and then you'll also do cutomisations and dioramas. The variety is what keeps me coming back time after time.
I would love a nice Ferrari Matchbox casting from back then. This one in particular just looks great and that's before your done. After you finished, WOW. AWESOME JOB AGAIN SIR.
the windshield looks even better when its in the car...overall the car looks great, think it need slightly bigger wheels. but you really saved it, its looking great
Danny you brought it back to life its cherry now job well done
Great job! The F40 is one of the best cars ever made!
Congrats Danny awesome job! Superb detailing
Nice, windscreen came out great👍
You just hit a homerun that car looks awesome I love the special details that you put into your work.
Great job Danny! You saved that supercar from total disaster. Beautiful paint, sweet wheels.
It looks incredible! I am very impressed with how well the windshield cleaned up andI was surprised to see you were able to remove the yellowing. I have never heard of the paste you used but it really worked well. Simply an outstanding job.
A nicely detailed casting...
Easily in my top three favorite Ferraris, and you did a smashing job of bringing it back to life!
Not a Ferrari Man but you really did this model some justice.
Awesome restoration.
Amazing how good the casting look after the paint is removed.
Great restoration!
Excellent work as usual. Thank you.
Great job, good restauration. Congrats from Portugal. Cheers
These wheels are a HUGE improvement over what was on this!!
The end result, a stunning looking F40 Danny. A fantastic job done on it. Yes, it has to be bright red! I can't believe the windows came out looking so good. Cheers.
I found the exact same model in our big chest full of old toy cars from when we where kids. Gonna restore it aswell :)
Great job with your Restoring of The Matchbox F40 Ferrari . Amazing job with the painting and details . and you can now see the windscreen was not broken but it was the windshield wiper. It would have left it Black would have been like the car on Fast & Load.
Now THAT'S what it should look like!
That poor Ferrari in the beginning was pretty rough, little did it now it's found its way right into some good hands. I never knew you could do that with the windshields, is a slick thing that you did have to keep that in mind. She turned out beautiful my friend, the red could not be more perfect.
As always, fantastic restoration of the F-40. Your resto looks better than new. Thanks Danny for another video to show your talents.
Love the video! Always a treat to see people restoring things. Small tip from my experience using retrobright on old lego. I see many youtubers using bags but found it easier to use small cups that used to hold toppings you can smear on your bread. The reason I prefer this latter process is because you can more easily submerge the part you want to brighten. And you can take it out, inspect the result, with or without a quick rinse, and if you're unhappy easily cover it entirely again. I also feel that this treatment increases the temperature within the cup when exposed to sunlight (on the windowsill), which speeds up the process.
Great job Danny
Cheers
Jim
A very nice result. It looks great .
Another awesome restoration! The windscreen looks great. I have seen some people use headlight restorer to revive yellowed model windscreens, but your method worked great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Gorgeous job Danny. Particularly liked the detail work you did on the engine. Very nice indeed. The little details, like the size accurate badge, make all the difference.
Excellent job! I love everything you did!
Beautiful job sir.
Absolutely fantastic job on the window. As for the rest... one of the best ones you've done mate...
Mad props for painting the taillights.🙌🏼 and even the interior.
Such a minor detail...but it makes a huge difference.
Love watching this kind of videos. 👍🏼
Nice work. What a fun little video. Thanks!
That horse can run. Very Nice restoration
Thats the Ferrari i enjoy the most, from matchbox, glad someone did it....and perfectly
very well done Danny
Great resto mate!
Awesome save, glass turned out great, the interior detailing and wheels are definitely a nice touch, nice job on the paint too!
I totally agree with you about red being the only Ferrari colour, but I've seen this model in white, and it still looks badass as hell.
The only thing I would do more in this project, is letting the windscreen in the sun for quite some more. 3-4 days perhaps. I think the sun's UV rays would have more time to work and the plastic would be even more crystal. Good job!
It turned out awesome and the wheels look fine. Great job on getting that windshield looking good.👍👍😊
Really great restoration. You have very steady hands!
wow an excellent result 😎👍
Can’t believe what I just witnessed
Bravo
I'm glad you do this! . Good job
Beautiful job!
Absolutely awesome restoration Danny!
Great work... The F-40 definitely got a second life as a Matchbox car
Great job Danny keep up the good work
Amazing transformation Danny, looks brilliant.
By far one of the most beautiful and best restoration work i have seen maybe because i love this model danny the wheels..... wonderful even if you say they are not the best option for this particular car, love it, congrats.
Came out beautiful. Can't wait for the next one. Have a great day.
A superb restoration of one of the best Ferraris of the 1980's. It even overshadowed the 288 GTO which it was the starting point of it's development.
The details look great on this one... Well worth the extra time you had to put in it...
That's incredible! Beauty.
"Ferrari produced these from 1987 to 1982..."
Ye, makes sense.
nvstewart i was about to comment the same
1982-1992
Ferrari cars never gets old... They are timeless :D
@@mikemer79 wrong again 1982 would pre date the 288gto of which evolution racecar became the test bed for the f40
Non 1987 à 1992
This is so cool I couldn't stop watching great job restoring!!!
Possibly my favourite ever car 😍 You done a great job mate 😎👍🏼💪🏼

I think you did a good job on bringing the glass back. The car looks really nice.
Very nice. Wheels are little bit too modern, but still looks great
First I would like to say you did an amazing job on this one. I for sure thought that windshield was a goner. Second I about died laughing at 0:32 when you said 1987 to 1982 lol. Keep up the great work.
Yes meant to say '92
Danny's Diecast Disasters yeah I figured it was just really funny.
I agree it looks just great!!.. Looks like this Ferrari is ready to hit the track... Another super job!!
