Now that's one sharp looking 1960s Chevy Corvette, the two tone paint job, the white lettered tires, the mag wheels & the spinners really set that car off😊❤👍
Fantastic restoration Danny. I liked how you used glue to sand the plastic parts. This was one of my favorite restorations you have done. Your roof repair was great.
SUPER KOOOOOLLLLLL . Great work as always . The roof work came out great , nice work with the half drum stick . The paint and the wheels = AWESOME .... car looks better then new .
Lovely work on a classic beauty! I never knew about those Dirt Modeler knockoffs. That was a great micro detail to finish it off. Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁👍
Absolutely beautiful repair on that squashed roof. Good choice on the color change and those wheel knock offs are a wonderful finishing touch on those new wheels. Thanks Danny for another great rescue.
Awesome restoration! My dad had a 59 corvette when I was a little boy. It looked a lot like that. It had side pipes on it. And when he’d start it, I’d get intimidated/ scared.
This is as always amazing work. The two tone paint and silver highlights really make the car pop and you wouldn't know the roof had been bent flat at all.
Awesome build, Danny! I love your weathered ones, but this one really shines literally and figuratively. Gonna have to check out that wheel company. Those are too cool!
Brilliant stuff Danny love those wheel knock-ffs, I will have to take a look at their website - thanks for sharing, the finish and fix of that squashed roof it 100% perfect, faultless Danny-magic!
Amazing job with the restoration. I actually have that casting in near mint condition, but I think it looks even better in that classic color scheme. Any American Muscle car and especially Corvettes looks fantastic in red.
Turned out great. Those knock off' s....man fiddly work, but man how cool they are and it lifts the build. And you should get a small jewlers leather/sand bag to knock aginst so you can control better where you want to straighten å body
Beautiful work on the car Danny. It really looks great. I don't think they would have put a black interior in a red car. Usually red or tan. I'm not saying they don't exist I'm just saying a black interior is not going to sell a car.
I wonder if running a flame from a lighter across the plastic bumper would have smoothed it out too? I only ask because frome experience when i have used super glue around any of the chrome it eventually ruins the chrome a ways down the road. But not sure if it ruins paint or the molotow chrome? But sometimes it can take up to a year or two but eventually it ruins the chrome lol
The finished car is amazing! Just needs to be hit with some silver around all the windows to simulate the stock chrome trim but that's easy enough to do since it can be unscrewed. Wow that really makes me want to do one myself. Thanks for the awesome video and ideas.👍🏼
One of your best! My jaw literally dropped when I saw the reveal at the end! Great job!
Great recovery Danny. Cheers Michael
This is one of my favorite restorations of yours. The idea of putting those knockoffs is excellent! Great finishing touch!

wow can't believe thats the same car. the detail work you do is amazing
That’s a keeper, display it proudly!!! That came out really nice.
Drop of glue will keep windscreen against roof, and not allow the obvious sag when completed with restoration. Love your videos.
Not to take from the amazing work overall, but I agree gluing the windshield was a must.
Fantastic restoration Danny. I liked how you used glue to sand the plastic parts. This was one of my favorite restorations you have done. Your roof repair was great.
SUPER KOOOOOLLLLLL .
Great work as always .
The roof work came out great , nice work with the half drum stick .

Danny, thank you for the "how to" details on repairing the crushed roof!
That car is ready to be driven on the Pacific Coast Highway! Awesome job!!
Nice save Danny! Those crushed tops are something else to repair!
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👍👍
Yeah this is most certainly one of the best restorations. A very shiny result. Love those wheel knock-offs. They are the golden trim on this one.
Love the fancy wheels Danny; finishes the car off perfectly.👌😁
Matchbox corvette 1962. Like 👍
Awesome restoration! My dad had a 59 corvette when I was a little boy. It looked a lot like that. It had side pipes on it. And when he’d start it, I’d get intimidated/ scared.
Great work mate, love the red with the white. Looks so clean.
Awesome Job I'm blown away at how well the roof turned out.
You did an outstanding job on this one.
Very nice re-construction of an abused toy. Nice color scheme and wheel/tire choice. Cheers!
Yo awesome restoration!! I can never restore those smushed tops and they always snap on me 😅😂
This is as always amazing work. The two tone paint and silver highlights really make the car pop and you wouldn't know the roof had been bent flat at all.
Very good job on the roof of the car, very life-like in appearance
Danny, another great & excellent restoration!!
Awesome build, Danny! I love your weathered ones, but this one really shines literally and figuratively. Gonna have to check out that wheel company. Those are too cool!
Dude! You are such a stinking artist when it come to these things. Well done!
Brilliant stuff Danny love those wheel knock-ffs, I will have to take a look at their website - thanks for sharing, the finish and fix of that squashed roof it 100% perfect, faultless Danny-magic!

This Corvette turned out amazing Danny I really like those wheels brother
Love it nice job . Reminds me of watching the old Route 66 tv show they used a few different years of the early corvettes .
That is a stunning 62 Li'l red Corvette , those wheels with the knock offs really suit it Danny , great job 😀 👍 👏
Amazing restoration!
Phenomenal work Danny a real masterpiece
Absolutely phenomenal work
Amazing job with the restoration. I actually have that casting in near mint condition, but I think it looks even better in that classic color scheme. Any American Muscle car and especially Corvettes looks fantastic in red.
What a great restoration…car brings back memories of the 80s show Riptide.
What a beautiful job excellent work
Wonderful job all around but I am most impressed by the wheels.
Really top work Danny! Well done....
looks great again! I too, love the wheels with the little knockoffs. :) it's hard to get that roof back into shape, but you did good here. ^^
That came out REALLY nice!
Awesome job! I really like the Dirt Modeler knockoffs! They give it that nice finishing touch. Great find! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing job! Great wheels, cool paint and details.
The glass don't fit properly fella but it is looking better 👍👍
Just the best restorer out there.

They are just getting better!
Nice project 👍 turned out pretty cool
Always enjoy these remasters. One thing I am curious about is what some of these use to look like when they were produced
Poppin! Great job!

Una auténtica belleza y un modelo valioso recuperado para muchos años mas de disfrute y recuerdo.
Best one yet!
Looks great, well done.
Nice save!
Nice job 👍🏻
Restoration. This. Squashed. 1980s. Matchbox. 1962. Corvettes
Absolutely 100%. Thanks for the video.
All I can say is WOW!!!!
Very cool Vette‼️
Amazing!! So classy
Nicely done 🌺🔥🔥
Nice job Danny! Have you ever used a heat gun to soften the casting before bending it back in place?
Great save, if it was me I'd have found a better one to start with!
Nice job .considering that you started with flat end car.
That roof came back to life
thats sick
Beautiful work on the car Danny. It really looks great. I don't think they would have put a black interior in a red car. Usually red or tan. I'm not saying they don't exist I'm just saying a black interior is not going to sell a car.
🎶 Little red Corvette 🎶
One of your best.
Man that came out nice . I would love if I can send you one just like it for you to PLEASE make me one just like it .
Ottimo lavoro! 😉👍

Brilliant again
It’s “Lola”, Director Phil Coulson’s car, from Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD
Very good w9rk.. 👍👍👍👍
Can the pillars be heated up with a heat gun before trying to straighten them?
Does it say something along the front? Maybe would look good if chromed.
