  • 📌 Hello everyone! I recently started using Tales Coffee's Single Pour Method with the Origami Japan dripper and it's been amazing! It gives off a very clean, flavorful and sweet cup and the method itself is not too hard/complicated to understand and learn. A video on the technique itself will be coming soon too (but I need more practice haha)! Although I don't stir with a stirring stick at the end of the pour, it still results in a very delicious brew.
Origami design is a Japanese art of paper folding that has been practiced for centuries. The Dripper of the same name is inspired by the spirit of the playfully, colorful and creative but delicate craft, and shares much of this in brewing coffee.
20 evenly spaced deep vertical grooves form down the pour-over dripper that produce an unobstructed flow of water through your bed of coffee grounds.
Mino porcelain is used in making the Origami Drippers and is one of Japan’s most prestigious potteries, with more than 400 years of history. Renowned for unmatched quality and durability, porcelain has a fantastic thermal conductivity as well enhancing the characteristics of the brew with a full aroma and extraction to the fullest extent.

Excuse me but can you give me a review of the grinder that you’re using, the Hario V60 grinder?

Yea, so I don't know much about coffee grinders specifically but the Hario V60 grinder is just ok. It does it's job, you can easily change the grind size settings (also has a wide range of grind size settings), it generally doesn't have any issues when using it (like breaking or malfunctions) but the coffee grinds can often be uneven and it generates quite a bit of fine coffee powder (e.g. even on coarse settings, there are lots of fine powder that can lead to clogging when brewing or uneven extraction). I would say that there are better grinders out there that are of similar price or of just bit more expensive, I recommend you checking out James Hoffmann's video on grinders as he is an expert when it comes to coffee! - th-cam.com/video/bgjvLQu5NlE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JamesHoffmann
