『Clever Dripper』🧠💧 | Bypass Method 🚰 | Cafede Kona

📌 Hello everyone, today I will be showing you how we brew using Clever Coffee Dripper from Cafede Kona. We got it recently and started off with Michalis Dimitrakopoulos' bypass method - 140ml coffee (24g), 130ml by-pass water - however the coffee grounds would clog the dripper and hence slow down the draw down of the coffee. That's why we have combined the Workshop Coffee's/James Hoffmann method which speeds up the drainage through adding water first before the coffee. Hope you guys can try and enjoy this recipe! c:
Clever Coffee Dripper is a steep and release brewer, which basically allows the coffee to steep in water for extraction, and when you are ready to drink it, it has a mechanism whereby placing it on top of something (cup or server) it drains/releases (draw down) the coffee out of the bottom. It's an easy and delicious way to make coffee.

⏱️ STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. 24g of coffee (medium to coarse grind size)
2. Boil water to 93°C
3. Prepare the dripper and put in the appropriate paper filter
3. Preheat and prewash the dripper + filter
4. Pour 140ml of previously boiled water into the dripper
5. Put the coffee in and gently stir it
6. Wait 1 minute
7. Gently stir again
8. Wait 30 seconds
9. Drain it to a coffee server
10. Add 130ml of water
11. Enjoy!
