How to Share Phone Internet (Mobile Data) With PC through Cable & Wirelessly

- Share internet from Phone to PC/laptop via CABLE
- enable Data (mobile provider's internet)
- connect PC/laptop to smartphone via USB cable
- on the phone go to Settings, Tethering, enable "USB tethering"
Share internet from Phone to PC/laptop via Wireless
- enable Data (mobile provider's internet)
- on the phone go to Settings, Tethering, enable "Mobile HotSpot"
- set a password for the new wireless network
- on the PC/laptop connect to the newly created wireless network (the desktop PC must have a Wi-Fi antenna / on the laptop enable Wi-Fi)

Unfortunately, in these times of programmed obsolescence, anything you do with your phone beyond using it as a paperweight--when off-- will shorten its battery lifetime.
As long as you use your phone then battery will shorten.

Every time I try to do the tethering with cable, my pc goes on blue screen. I'm too lazy to connect the USB from behind the PC. I use the top of the case usb plugs, but I guess there's some issue with the USB connector 😂

Charybdis yes if ur PC can't connect to internet then just connect a usb from phone (phone has to be connected to wifi or data) to PC and then go to settings in ur phone and turn on ur tethering settings like he mentioned in vid and it ll work, hope I helped u!

That would require some sort of adapter from your phone's USB to RJ45.

Uses whichever is started. In this video at 0:35 Data was enabled, the internet from the phone company. If you enable Wi-Fi instead than Wi-Fi (hotspot) will be sent to the PC.

Laptop doesn't have type c so I tried using Bluetooth, didn't work.
The phone can have USB type-C (or micro USB), the other end of the cable should be normal, large USB type A.

This is not about getting free internet, but about giving internet access to a desktop PC that has no wired or wireless internet.
