"get away from it all" from what exactly? luxurious sunbathing, sipping cocktails and enjoying an evening sun setting in a tropical setting? ;) Nice review! I like the fact you also highlight parts that can be improved. Not something all reviewers consistently do.
Highlights: 0:46 - The M8 is a big boat, and the name comes from its size. 1:23 - The cockpit area is beautifully open and feels like a proper terrace. 1:51 - The platform has a 500kg lift capacity, which extends the cockpit. 4:04 - The side decks are vast and nicely protected with top quality stainless steel. 6:03 - The flybridge is a good sociable area and works very well indeed. 10:05 - Galley forward layout on the boat gives it a mix of socializing areas. 12:40 - The boat has plenty of storage areas that are neatly put. 13:30 - You can fit proper lower Helm on this deck rather than having to go up. 14:00 - The boat has a standard dishwasher but it's a bit smaller. 14:15 - Impressive cooling space provided in the galley with a big double fridge and freezer. 20:00 - The owner's suite is massive with a walk-in wardrobe, a lounge area and study. 24:00 - The boat has a fantastic forward view with large Garmin mfds and a joystick for easy maneuverability. 25:05 - Electric steering is light and feels like it's on rails, turns tightly and behaves well at high speeds. 26:00 - The boat is an all-round package with head-turning features like the open cockpit, spacious accommodations, and storage, making it very effective for long cruises.
Lovely boat. Best presentation so far, Jack (this one felt not rushed, very relaxing to watch)! Excellent tour and editing. Will dream on. Thank you very much.
About died when Jack Haines presents the fridge and whispers "Americans are you watching? This is for you." Literally laughed out loud, and as an American, I agreed. Also, I love how the video is edited to show different footage when he is opening the fridge and has sunglasses. It's not intentional. There was a reason for it I'm sure, but it brings out the USA vibes, lol. Great review.
Brilliant review Jack, thanks! It’s huge!! So much space for the length, and the extended VIP and master are stunning. I always worry about mooring space with big wide power cats - is it easy to find somewhere to moor?! The options list sounds expensive! £20k for some seats on the flybridge, £15k for a fabric sunroof or £140k for some solar and batteries! 🤢
You are the first showing that new cat. Thanks. Amazing cat in general. The helmet downstairs is a must have in my point of view. But the owner suite is huge, but somehow weird. The windows are small. I would prefer the one on the sunreef. But they are more narrow. God job both you and prestige.
Fantastic, especially the outdoor space. I’m sure there are lots of options in terms of interior fit and design but to me the interior space on this example looks incoherent and bity - doesn’t flow or look particularly inviting. Buy hey, I’m thinking about my first boat with a budget of less than 1% of this boat so who am I to nitpick 😁

The s72 is way better than this! The saloon is horrible the seating to watch tv is terrible! My favourite boats are the princess s78 and the y72 and the riva 88 FOLGORE ! Cat's have space but they dont have the stunning looks of a mono hull and the square living space makes it difficult to lay out a dinette and saloon! The s72 is stunning as well i just like the extra interior space of the s78 as the princess sports yachts have huge exsterior space that eats up interior space! So the y72 flybride would have the same interior space of the s78 if that makes sense! God bless all and happy sailing all 🙏❤⚓🛥

I keep hearing about this, but then I heard they raised the price and also they just started building them in April. Don't know if that's true or not, but it is quite the buzz, along with the Horizon 110 here in Central Florida
For the best part of £6 million I would want to leave the med at at the end of September and turn first left and second right for Christmas. An expensive toy but not a proper yacht. I still enjoyed the video.
Loved the video - LOL on the day head door. LOL!! Hell Yea I'd think about this cat. Prestige is a well known brand with a good reputation. Beneteau knows how to make a boat and they are not going anywhere soon so your support is going to be there. New models always have there quirks so get the 2024 or 2025 models so they iron some of those quirks out if some of the rough edges bug you that much. There are only a few brands of power cats so a new brand is always welcome. And - you either like French design or not. I happen to like French design.
The interior is like a polished building site - with no sensible traffic flow - all very jumbled with 'storage' lockers in the silly places- It has a very cold feel to it with the freestanding furniture looking like most of it was an afterthought and they couldn't decide where to put it. The ''entertainment area' on the bow looks totally wrong with sofas with their backs to the bow- only useful when at anchor and really would you want a dozen people congregating there with no sign of a wet bar or any other facilities. Of course, underway - a good wave over the bow would rearrange the furniture as probably the guests. It's a shiny gin palace with little style or sophistication - ideal for first time buyers who might think it's cool.
I like it. I still think there is room for improvements on the layout. Especially considering a 30ft beam is going to be hard tp find a marina that will accommodate you. The Horizon 60 is a better layout in my opinion
@gregorythoman9764 berths are designed for narrower beam boats. I own a 70ft boat. In fact marinas are designed for boats under 60 ft and 19 ft beams. Having a 65 ft cat with a 30 ft. Beam would require you to get a super yacht berth. There are far less of them and they're extremely expensive. Most yachts of 150 ft or less are under 27ft beam. Also Horizon yachts are built far better than prestige yachts. I have been on a lot of them. Prestige yachts aren't known for quality.
I think this is a nice boat but I prefer the new Horizon 68 cat. The layout is better, the portuguese balcony has easy access to the bow to handle lines or anchor and the fuel consumption is much better.
@@brianmiller6443anyone with a brain will just rent out 2 normal size berths rather than renting out one for a super yatch Suprised u dont have the brain capacity to figure that one out Suprised
turn it into a solar power plant so it has an unlimited range, use sharrow propeller and get rid of the extrovert outhouse and chromed scaffolding like staircase
why no one has still put some sort of retractable ladder on the bow so that you can dive off into the water from that lovely area and then go back straight up without the need of swimming to the back and walk back up the yacht? The "beach club" becomes that gorgeous bow area that you have with the addition of that retractable ladder. (Bonus tip: add also a retractable diving board at the bow)
Hmm.. the washing machine and drying machine is pretty wierd placed tbh. :/ We going to buy one next year to sail around in Croatia where we have 5 bases where we charter it out in seasons, my father was in Croatia last month to check it out, but i believe you could have removed the crew bedrooms and made a bigger place for washing machine and loundrary instead. =) But it's a super beautiful boat as a catermaran.
Definitely needs a proper internal helm. Unless you keep it in the tropics. 5.7 million, is a lot not to have that feature. I think you would get a lot more for your money with a mono hull in that respect. Of course it is all down to customer preference and where they intend to use it.
$6 million is legit yacht money. I get all the advantages of the wide beam dual hull but that’s stupidly overpriced given alternatives. Sunseeker 86, Azimut 87 (with money to spare), the list goes on.

Theres nothing nice about it.... its hideous, over priced, impractical. i mean washer and dryer spit level in the middle of the boat? damn who designed that crap. aqila 70 kicks its butt..... monte carlo boat builders? i think not. back to school prestige boat designers!!
