Captain Art didn't really like it at first, but it's growing on him. He also told me that I needed to learn to park old school before trying it out. Once it was correctly calibrated to the boat, it started yielding precision parking to the inch.
I am slowly getting over the sea sickness. I've tried the electric bands, sturgeron (from the UK) and the transderm scop patch. I think I like the patch the best of all. No stabilizers, so a following sea is a good day, and from the side, not so much. We try to choose decent weather windows.
Absolutely, yes we do. If you look closely, you will see the lines for the fenders tied to the rails. We usually have about 5-6 on the dock side of the boat. Thanks for watching and I hope you will check out some more of our videos as we go along!!
We used a company in Singapore that helped us - they were very familiar with the process. Our guys at Iliad recommended them and they were great. We chose a southern ocean flag because we are down here for the next few years. Eventually we may end up migrating the registration home IF we return there.
Love it! The sea, sun, sand, food, drink, friends! What more could you ask for!!
Well, we could ask for you guys to come join us!!
Really enjoyed that Delores, we can not wait to get back to the nomatic life on the sea.
I'm hoping you are out there on your Longreach very very soon!! We can't wait!!
Gourmet Kitchen makes the best coffee ever! Thank you Cindy and Sol Searcher!

The joystick! How cool is that?!

How do you guys go with sea sickness and does a cat have stabilizers?

@@solsearchercat Thanks. I usually take the pills and stay above deck. I will try the patch. 👍
When docking ,do you not use fenders?

How was the degree of difficulty in getting your South Pacific registration?

Where are you guys at?
