that turned out great! as for the respirator, he is using cartridges rated for organic vapor so he doesn't breathe in the solvent

Love this, I bought a condo with stairs painted blue and it’s chipping/uneven so I want to remove the paint and then stain the wood
Removing the paint will be the trickiest / most annoying part of that process. Good luck with your stairs!
