I am 55 years old, my first yoga class was at 18 with the American Ski Team Yoga teacher, the best thing in my first few classes that i learned was how to use my muscles to protect my spine. Still to this day i have no issues or problems on any part of my back or spine and so i thank my first teacher for not ruining my body 40 years later. It is wise young one, to make sure to keep yourself safe by knowing what muscles to use to protect the spine for your own future.

Hi Cat thank you very much that really helps. I know what you mean about cardio yoga. It is incredible that i can walk all day..., not that fit but still, and then i attempt to do one sun salutation and i have to take a break because i am totally out of puff ;)
When I do my low lunges my back leg never gets totally straight. My knee is always slightly bent and it annoys me because I want to get it right! Do you see this much Tara? If so any tips??? Great video by the way, I will be doing this in about half an hour :)
i do an hour of yoga 6 days a week and i find it to be enough. i make sure to do some fast power yoga routines to get my heart rate up as well as slower strength building routines

Hey tara I wanted to know if theres a pose that could stretch the upper thighs because I keep noticing my upper thighs can be stiff sometimes especially the left leg, any suggestions please?
WOW!!! that place is truly breath taking!!! kinda makes me sad that i'll never be able to sit there at night and see the beauty.... kinda makes me hungry tho, I want nice things. but at the end of the day as long as iv got yoga iv got health and peace of mind and that's worth more than any mansion.....
Her form is not that good! She's collapsing into her shoulders and letting her core drop toward the floor (1:14) when she lowers and lifts from the floor. Not impressed.
CIndy Renee Not jealous. Sorry for being rude. I just prefer women who have a bit of meat on their bones; that's my preference. I guess the main thing is she is fit and healthy.
I am not rude or jealous and I saw enough of her videos to see she has poor technique and very little strength. She can hardly do a push up in full plank and I get frustrated seeing people making money on youtube when they don't instruct well. Like I said if you think yoga is only about being flexible you are not really getting it..... I also teach and I personally find her hard to watch..... I learnt nothing from her....
Do you even know anything about her? She TEACHES millions of women all over the world every day. So...does she have "only flexibility" or "no technique?" Make up your mind! If you think you could do better, make your own videos. Careful, your insecurity is showing.

This is not intense cardio! This was hard to watch....she looks so frail and weak!
super flexible , no strength....sorry you just rely on the fact you are flexible, you are hard to watch because you have no muscle or strength.
