So sorry for your loss Frankie… amazing how well he looks! I hope it is OK to share a funny encounter I had with Frankie Valli and his band in the early 70’s. I was a young 19 year old girl who got some vacation time to visit a friend in Phoenix,Arizona. When I had to take my return flight home, my friend dropped me off late and I almost missed my flight. I remembered as I was checking in, a group of men being asked about their carry on luggage. They were wearing strange outfits and had long hair but they were like in their 30’s & 40’s, mostly young kids wore their hair long. I remember one guy saying it was a Flute he was carrying … I’m thinking how strange… why is he carrying a Flute? At the same time I’m thinking could you all please get out of my way … I’m trying to catch a flight!! Well, it turns out these men were trying to catch the same flight and we were all running up the ramp of stairs to get on the plane and I probably jumped over a few of them …LOL! The plane had to make a stop in Tucson and while waiting I saw a guy in same aisle but on other side of the plane being approached by a man who came up to speak to him and they spoke briefly. I recognized that it was Frankie Valli. I asked the guy if that was him and he said YES. Then the guy told me I can take you back there to meet him … I was shy and said NO … but he insisted so,I got up and took my camera. Most of the band members were sitting in the back and were flirting with the Stewardess in the back. I got to meet Frankie Valli and he politely let me take a photo with him and some of his band members, they were all nice. I shared that photo with friends & family as that was probably the first time I ever met a famous person and I really liked his music and singing! I realized later that the band probably wanted to board last and probably had just performed in Phoenix or were going to perform in LA and why they were wearing their outfits that I thought were strange for these older men that I encountered at the airport. A passenger also told me that when they came on the plane that the passengers recognized them .. apparently I came on with the guys whose bags were being checked because they carried instruments .. so I missed Frank Valli who got on before us as I had no idea Frankie Valli and his band were on the flight so I missed the excitement 😊😮😂
Hands down ,it’s Sherry for me,when I was 10 we had a pool table in our garage my older brother and I and all of his cute friends would listen to the radio ,this is niw 65 years ago, when Sherry came on ,I would yell across the street to my best friend and her brother “Sherry’s on ,they would come over and we would dance ,dance dance ,really great memories.
My deepest condolences to you, I can understand and feel your pain, as a parent it’s the worst pain any parent can feel. I lost two of my kids my daughter died in March and my son in October. I felt pain so unimaginable that I thought I had nothing to live for . It’s been four years now and I’m still on depression pills, I have my good days and bad days, but I’m glad I had the lord to lean on I could not do it alone. I still celebrate my daughter Nicole’s birthday and my son John birthday, so to Mr Vali trust in the lord he is the only one that can pull you through. If you have to cry let the tears flow do not suppress it it’s acknowledging our undying love for them even if they are not here, Keep loving them. I hope and pray that you find peace in your heart, I will keep you in my prayers and to everyone that lost a child .
My son took his own life and died a week before he turned 20. His twin is 32 now. The pain is still crippling every day. If I hadn't had other children I very much believe that I wouldn't still be here on this earth.
My youngest is 38. I can not imagine the pain of losing one of my kids. My grandmother would say she didn’t want to outlive her children. We consider it a blessing she passed the year before one of her grandsons (29) was killed and the next year a great-grandson (15) 😢
My deepest sympathy to Frankie. I lost my 2 oldest sons 29 days apart in 2018. One loss was expected, the other not. Both just as painful. We keep living because they would want us to, but the grief we will carry forever. Prayers for everyone on here who has lost a child.
My mom lost a son and a daughter 1 year apart John 35 left 2 kids behind Alicia 44 no kids died of same medical issue it almost broke my mother One day at a time and GOD'S HELP
Losing a child is something you never recover from, I lost my 18 year old son to suicide almost 20 years ago, I've learnt to live with it, as I don't have a choice, but he's always there in my mind, and tooled away inside my heart
I'm not married, and have never had, much less lost a child, but I clearly have seen the pain. My mom's best friend's son overdosed of heroine when he was twenty-three. The look of loss and eternal pain on her face at his funeral stills aches me now. People say "you're not a parent...you can't understand the pain. To which I say "I've never been bit by a tiger...but I know it must be awfully painful."
I was fortunate enough to take my wife, who was a big fan of Frankie Valli to see him perform in the UK a few years ago, he was great. At my wifes' funeral last year we played " My eyes adored you". Nothing prepares you for losing your partner or children, no matter what their ages are. And I don't think that you ever get over it, you just learn to live with it.
My daughter passed away on 27th December. My heart is broken. There is no pain like this. I have to be strong for my grandchildren. My heart goes out to you x❤
Losing a child is like losing a hand. As a 16 year old, I worked as a lab aide in a hematology research lab at Hahnemann Hospital and Medical College in downtown Philadelphia. Watching young children bleed out from acute leukemias was one of the most heart wrenching things I'd ever witnessed in my life. To witness a mother screaming at the hematologist to do something for her daughter when (at that time) there was nothing that could be done just brought me to tears. It gave me a sense of empathy that most teenagers would ever have. Later in my life I had to watch my partner of some 23 years go through death from cancer. My experiences in the past still did not prepare me for that event. I've come to the realization that death is a part of life - one we all will eventually experience. If I can face it with lack of fear I'll be grateful.
I met him in 1970 I was a travel counselor for AAA in Minnesota they were doing a bus tour. What a nice polite guy..Its so hard to lose a loved one and hard when the holidays come around .Lost. my husband 2 years sgo..Met him about the same time I met Mr Valli 😢

I have learned to throw my burden on Jehovah God and wait for his promises Revelation 21:4/John 5:28,29. Accept the help and support from friends and family. I spend my time keeping busy by doing volunteer work, helping others as much as possible. I also started a little garden. Day by day! God bless!🙏🌺
I'm seeing all these parents who are stating they lost children. This wrecks me. I'm so sorry for everyone who lost a child. I'm so very sorry.😢
I know how he feels lost our son 6 months and pain is so hard
Frankie Valli a voice from my teenage years. May he have many more years with us.
I'm so sorry for your loss. So painful. Sending you courage and love and strength.

That poor soul. God bless you Frankie.
Fallen Angel wonderful underrated song.

Sounds like you had a great childhood🎉
Poor Soul may he Rest in Eternal Peace 🙏🙏❤
I'm sure Mr. Valli will help many people with this interview.
My youngest is 38. I can not imagine the pain of losing one of my kids. My grandmother would say she didn’t want to outlive her children. We consider it a blessing she passed the year before one of her grandsons (29) was killed and the next year a great-grandson (15) 😢
I offer my sincere condolences to Frankie. May God heal and comfort his broken 💔.
My deepest sympathy to Frankie. I lost my 2 oldest sons 29 days apart in 2018. One loss was expected, the other not. Both just as painful. We keep living because they would want us to, but the grief we will carry forever. Prayers for everyone on here who has lost a child.
My mom lost a son and a daughter 1 year apart John 35 left 2 kids behind Alicia 44 no kids died of same medical issue it almost broke my mother
One day at a time and GOD'S HELP
So very sorry.
Can't take my eyes off you...❤❤❣️❤❤❤❣️❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❣️❤❤
Losing a child is something you never recover from, I lost my 18 year old son to suicide almost 20 years ago, I've learnt to live with it, as I don't have a choice, but he's always there in my mind, and tooled away inside my heart
Just the thought of losing even one of my two sons brings tears to my eyes, so I can’t imagine the pain of losing my two! 😪
Is this a recent interview? Mr. Valli looks marvelous!
He's 90 years old now and still looks great.
My daughter passed away on 27th December. My heart is broken. There is no pain like this. I have to be strong for my grandchildren. My heart goes out to you x❤
So Sorry to hear this God Bless you and your Family!! 💔❤️💙💔💔

Just love Frankie V. Hate to see him so hurt. Life is a huge lesson to purge our soul and faith. Gold is heated at a very high temperature to purify it. Many are with you. Saw you a while back in Durham, NC. Your voice is totally amazing still. ❤❤❤❤❤
