Could also be the different blender - a vitamix will make short work of those ice cubes, but that one may take some time to break them down. Also it seems like it had a locking portion on the bottom that people didn't know could come loose

@@julie99nl No. A lot of blenders just get pulled up out of the base. if you twist they disassemble for easy cleaning. Its a common "feature trap" thats not intentional.
To be fair, it happened to me several times when I was younger, so I can't laugh to much about it.
@@VeniVdVici The didn't "just get pulled up out of the base" -- they got _unscrewed_ on the base! Oops.
@@wwoods66 I know. What I was writing was that the bottom of the blender pitcher is twisted on; but the pitcher is not screwed into the motorized "base". Not the clearest thing to describe!

Not me yeah, but what is the difference? Sharper knife? Faster?
viethuong vothai blaze shape and size, shape of the container, cutting speed and direction. Food processors mince but won’t fully liquefy like a blender.
I don't have a blender so I use my food processor and it makes a great smoothie.

they are not terrible of making smoothie. It's the blender's fault . It's the freaking blender's fault.
Some didn't add in enough liquid. You fail without enough liquid.
To be fair, that is a jerk blender where it can fall out the bottom. Every blender i've ever had you could only remove the bottom by removing the whole thing first

I dont blame the people that had the bottom of the blender come off, I've never seen a blender do that, seems like bad design in an attempt to make it easier to clean, it comes off too easily or at all
I've never seen a blender that doesn't do that and I've never seen it cause any issues except in this video, where they tried to unscrew the pitcher from the base instead of lifting it for some reason.
@@valornthered every blender I've seen requires at least a quarter turn to take the glass off of the base. Never seen one that just requires you to lift and nothing else.
You can totally see the first girl turning the glass. As soon as she did I was thinking "no no no no no". They just jump cut to the others lifting after turning. All blenders should be able to have the blade part twisted off from the glass part.

protip: blend without ice. Then add ice, and blend a little, just enough to break the big chunks down. Easily the best way to get good texture
Or add enough liquid (more liquid if using all frozen fruits), and use a ninja blender ;)
