- Dune is the greatest selling sci-fi novel in history and was actually labeled as "unfilmable" when other attempts had previously fallen flat. It is now at the top of the box office, with fans and critics clamoring for the most recent installment of the Dune series. The problem with this however is that many are unaware of the hallucinogenic and cultic underpinnings as well as the Islamic messianic secrets in the film.

The Holy Bible is my favorite book and as a child Dune was my second. I actually met the lead Actor who played in the original. Whats extremely telling is the original actor Kyle Mclaughlin was filming Twin Peaks on my city block. We worked on the set before we realized that show was very Satanic. It was very disappointing. God is Sovereign. 🙌

I took my 6 year old to watch the movie. During the last scene he turned to me and said, “so he’s an evil Jesus” I told him, that’s a great observation, it’s called an anti-Christ.

I haven’t seen it, but from what I have read, the movie itself is aware the protagonist isn’t a good guy. It of course flies over the heads of the viewers
Book readers are aware, but then again, the books are more detailed on those aspects.
Through the character Chani, the film makes quite obvious that Paul is no savior. He's a manufactured "chosen one" using a made up prophecy to manipulate the fremen for his own interests.
He is not exactly a bad guy either at this point in the story. He is just hyped up by everyone around him as a messiah. Everything goes just terrible, as we will see in the next movie. But he does fit the mold of an anti Christ in many ways.

I will admit I have watched both films, the second film 3 times. Both times I became aware of the witchcraft. The second film goes DEEP into it, so much so that I questioned why I was watching it. I felt deeply ashamed at how excited I was for seeing a film and wanting to read a book series about witchcraft. I need to fast and pray for God's correction!
Can we also talk about the pyramids and zigarats spread throughout the movie? Specifically the chess board that the Emperor and his daughter are using near the beginning of the film has pyramid chess pieces, and the zigarat that the Emperor uses as his home base on Arrakis. Not a complete pyramid btw but the incomplete pyramid of the Freemasonic order and the structure description that fits the Tower of Babel- a zigarat.
Denis' movies are definitely occult and I would recommend a deeper dive on him as a filmmaker.
Probably to show the religiosity of the entire culture of the Imperium. It shows that even if these people claim to not believe in anything, their culture still mirrors religious practices. It should also be pointed out that after their war against AI, the Imperium became deeply humanistic due to their distrust of thinking machines.
I thought the city of arrakeen more closely resembled the ancient Aztec city Tenochticlan

Take the extremely woke movie Revenant for instance. No where near the book but full of thinly disguised political commentary of the leftist kind. And in the end the woke Chani is getting center stage because of the director’s vetting office of the book ending and inserting some slant here.
There's so much hidden in Dune, especially the books. They also claim that memory is in the genes, something that is shown in a lot of movies. I guess they're trying to convince us that there's no soul, just a mind and genetic memory
I was trying to figure out why I didn't like this movie while everyone else is saying it's the most amazing movie ever. Now I understand. It's my spirit recognizing that its demonic.
After the sound and the visuals. I was not impressed and vaguely ill at ease. The first movie was better but it is hard to put aside the multitudinous anti Christian slant. It was more subtle than most and one can be mesmerized by the story.
The story is being told over and over again: a son losing his father by deception and violence, coming back as the 'chosen one', killing the bad guy, becoming the new leader. Just like in the Lion King and the Matrix, Black Panther ... the list is endless. Programming at its worst.
Power and corruption. Gluttony shows up..The Hero is the villain. It's pretty clear as day. There's nothing new under the sun no matter what future. Jesus' is King.
That is why I am so thankful for your ministry. You guys actually watch the film before reviewing it for us.

I read Dune and a few other books in the series..as a teen. I was enthralled and enchanted. I was going to re-read it about six years ago when God placed a stop on my desire..as I prayed God showed me how new age and demonic this book series is and it is not something a Christin should be reading. Praise God

The evil in these movies was even more powerful than the new Hell Boy movie from 2018 (or some time there) - when I saw the demons come up from the Hell Boy movie, I was very scared. When I watched these Dune movies, I cried because of the greater power of the evil one. I was very surprised to see the rating for PG-13, there is too much in this movie to justify a pg-13 rating.
I usually love blockbuster movies but couldn't ignore how steeped it was in the occult it felt like an evil film even down to the music chooses. When the anti-christ does come everyone will already be ready to believe the lie including those in churches. Alot of what you guys said I saw in the movie and couldn't pay me enough to watch a sequel.
Matthew 10:16 says “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” Watching Dune and seeing the direct connection to its story and the rise of Anti-Christ as depicted in the Bible’s book of Revelation and the book of Daniel for me is an affirmation of the truth of the Bible and God’s word and a sign that we are indeed in the end times. Pretty much everything today is Satanic to a greater or lesser degree, however you can tell the unsaved vs. the saved by how they perceive it, as most unsaved do not recognize how blatantly Satan is manipulating our media and entertainment. In order to be ‘as wise as serpents’ we need to see and comprehend how Satan is working, while simultaneously remaining innocent, and this requires the ability to identify and to discern his deceptions and manipulations in modern day life. In Dune, the Satanic metaphors are very overt in that the Benegeserit are witches, Paul’s mother is a witch who trains him in the ‘weirding way’ which is witchcraft and the occult, and ‘the water of life’ which is a Satanic metaphor for demonic possession through drugs, comes only through drinking the piss of a worm, which we know from other fictional narratives like Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, is a pseudonym for the dragon who is Satan. Worm = Dragon = Satan. The ‘Fremen’ are a metaphorical representation of the Arabic Islamic peoples of the Middle East, and ‘Maui Dib’, which is Paul’s given Fremen name, is a phonetical pseudonym of ‘Mahdi’ which the Islamic messiah and the Anti-Christ. The book of Dune covers the rise of Anti-Christ right up to the return of Jesus Christ, who defeats both him and the ‘worm’ aka Satan at the battle of Armageddon.

My husband’s favorite book and I’ve seen the old movie and thought it was weird but had no idea what it was about. Has anyone else noticed how mushroom images etc... are everywhere these days? On youth clothing, on drinking cups, all kinds of things. Seems to me between this and other observations, hallucinate drugs ect are being pushed to be normalized in society.

The phoenix sigil of the Atreides house is an occultist symbol that points to the great dragon, so from there on I was kind of rolling my eyes. I do think its a story that crosses the Lawrence of Arabia uprisings against the Ottomans in WW1 with the coming of the Islamic messiah. Even if the film does show several worrying points, it did make me reflect more on the return of our Messiah, and how it would be to witness our Lord in the flesh coming to finally bring justice to the world. God does bring good out of evil.

I read the first two Dune novels when I was in college. I soon forgot about them, especially after watching the Lynch movie version, and have no interest in the new films. Now that I know about the connection with Jung, Crowley, drugs and the occult, I will avoid these movies like the plague.

This may sounds strange but I’ve been getting a lot of feeds on my social media about this movie Dune. Mainly interviews with the cast pushing the movie. And for some interesting reason, I get this very eerie, creepy feeling just watching the cast chatting it up. I can’t explained why it makes a feeling that comes over me. Needless to say I will never set eyes on the movie. That’s a hard pass.

Good catch. I also noticed (especially in Part 1) the Nimrod imagery was constant. Nimrod "the hunter." He is often portrayed in the world as "the bull." And we jeep seeing the bull, and the Matador (bull fighter, bull slayer, great hunter) throughout part one. Nimrod probably the first major Antichrist type. And ofcourse Paul and his father in the movie are his descendants 🤔

Just watched it with an innocent mindset and my discernment kicked on left and right , the reference to demons is astounding and the spiritual significances not only twist several meanings from the word but go beyond to promote an anti-gospel message. Do not watch this movie felt like I grieved the Holy Spirit watching it.

Yep felt like a bait and switch and at the end I was craving the ending that should have been. But it wasn't. Yep it's a satanic movie. Lessons about fake Christ figure can be drawn, but the point is that he didn't show signs of it. He was a real hero until the point where he just wasn't anymore.

Superb Biblical review of the movies my brothers in Christ. I saw Dune 2 twice and I felt that the black and white visual spectrum on Giedi Prime during the arena fight was a type of hell itself as hell will not have the same look and feel of earth to say the least! The way you explain the world being in an altered state of mind (aka the Spice) is brilliant and true. I felt the Bene Gesserit was a type of real world evil Vatican style control of many nations and leaders of today. Brothers, the way you describe the attributes of Paul and the coming Antichrist are amazing. I do pray for the cast and crew to be born again and I will be sure to share your views of the movie with others. Personally, I watch movies, but not too often and when I do, I surely do watch it through the lense of a born again believer that I AM ! Thanks.

If by “the living water” you mean The Water of Life. It’s not water but poison that’s extracted from a dead sand worm. If anybody drinks it they’ll be able to see the past memories of their ancestors, if they survive. There’s not much more to it than that.

X Men: Apocalypse from 2016 as the character of Apocalypse says in the movie he is also called Ra, the character even claims in the movie that he’s god.
The show Messiah from Netflix as the show shows you who the Antichrist will be and where he will come from, the desert.
And I could go on and on and on and on with so many movies and shows that tell you the same story of the rise of the Antichrist, just In different ways.
I watched the 1st one and I regret it, one can discern right off the bat it was demonic when they would speak in these telepathic voices that sounds like demons if you watch someone being delivered from demonization and listen to how they’re voice sounds compared to these characters practicing these divination powers it sounds identical. Also the entire movie was so heavy, dark and depressing spiritually I could feel it was taking away from me rather than adding to my life it’s not worth it honestly
This is the perennial problem with sci-fi, there is a void in it, and as with the star wars series, occult creeps in or is deified, telekinesis, telepathy, weird super human powers. The central character doesn't look like much, but suddenly when his soul is freed, he becomes very powerful and authoritative in voice and action, almost superhuman in surviving his duel at the end of part 2. There is witchcraft when individuals are controlled. Villeneuve and Hollywood et al will not espouse Christian doctrine, thats obvious.

The overall trajectory of Dune's lore is demoralizingly nihilistic in its opposition to religion. It has a wholly unsatisfying destination. Which is why its current success is unsustainable with general audiences.
exactly I tried to read wheb I 13 couldnt finish it. Then again a few years ago I got into the the lore and watched a series if reviews that broke down the storylines of each book the dube series and the world budiling, themese and folklore. It was very dark... the author definately had an open door in his mind ti the kingdom of darkness. When god shows us thing from that kingdom its to warn people and pray against satans plans. But this book densensitizes peoole to his devices and normalizes. The whole point is to make a mockery of our messiah Yashuah(Jesus) and to promotr people worshipping themselves and power instead... which us ultimately worshipping the devil
I found it very interesting how near the end Paul (In Dune 2) gets very arrogant and cocky, it's as though they are trying to say to people this is the right attitude to have to be a leader, when it's the complete opposite.
The original movie had one of the leaders kill one of his "slaves" by pulling out his heart plug - just for fun!
I turned it off at that point! PURE AND UTTER EVIL!!!!

My dad took me to see the movie today with my family. It felt so demonic to me. I tried to talk to them about it but they completely shut me down. They’re Christian’s so I’m confused as to why they can’t understand how this is demonic. I just got made fun of

@@aleckelly374 I did research on the creator of dune. I can’t remember if this video said it or not but he was extremely against God. You should read the actual book. I couldn’t even finish it because it was extremely disgusting. There is a lot of inappropriate scenes which they had to take out to make the movie more appropriate. He used drugs as an inspiration for this. They paint religion to be almost like a joke or extremely controlling. It’s easy to point out when you’re Christian and have read the book. I don’t think someone is gonna go to hell for watching it but I’d rather not associate myself with demonic stuff like that.

I stopped watching any movies, especially from Hollywood, few years ago when I become a believer in YAHWEH and His messiah Yeshua and don't feel that I missing anything.
There is a whole genre of Christian movies and our family watches them and they might not have the same budget as Hollywood but you really get engrossed in them after watching for 10-15 minutes. I think a lot of them are available on like Amazon streaming and TH-cam obviously just type Christian movies for free
This is so strange! I watched this video yesterday for the 2nd from a long time before, and as I watched I could clearly see the message behind the story. I thought, this looks like a good representation of how the anti-Christ could be coming into play. I understand that our world is not set the same as in Dune, but the politics behind it could be similar to how it would be played out. I’m keen to see Part 2 to see the outcome, just to discern where this “spirit” is taking this message. What you practice in your everyday will reflect on the outcome of your actions and consequences. I barely watched the first movie and was confused as to what I was watching. Boring too lol. And yeah, very dark theme that wasn't settling with me. I'm a part-time writer looking to bring out my novels that shine light on the Kingdom of God and I tell you, it hasn't been easy without using drugs and dark inspirations to write content. To write without heavy influence isn't an easy task. Makes me wonder about writers like JK Rawlings and Stephen King and what they really did to release their dark content that has also been made into movies over the years. The scriptures say that the heart of man is deceitful and dark indeed.

After listening to Pastor John MacArthur talk about how the Antichrist was going to come out of Islam, I just had to go see the movie. But it didn't Encompass the whole idea like I thought. Excellent movie by the way. Fantastic soundtrack!
I am a new believer of just a few years now after dabbling in new age and other things I should not have…..
In going to see this movie, I wasn’t even sure what the story was about. I was absolutely blown away at the religious undertones, …the demonic possession,…the antichrist vibes…the Muslim reference,… mentioning of the Jinn, …and the main character even makes a comment of following the “narrow path” in the movie. Which stood out to me like a neon sign. There was a couple of times that I privately to myself, ended up rebuking in Jesus name. My mind was reeling when I got out of the theater. It was very intense for me.
And then I was reminded of the movie Black Adam of the marvel movies. It definitely had the same antichrist undertones. 😧

I never read the Dune books or saw the movie until a few weeks ago. When the main character went to the planet and the people were calling him the mahdi, my ears perked up and I really started watching for more antichrist parallels
