    I just started using a supplement with Bacopa, Gotu Kola, L-Theanine, and Holy Basil. I took half a dose the first couple of days and it made a huge difference in my bi-polar tendencies and my stress levels. I'm a nice human being over all and much more aware of my attitude. I'm also taking a multi vitamin and b-complex for reference.

    I am suffering from eczema when i consume herbs, even when the doctor prescribed me paroxetine med for my anxiety i felt eczema flare ups after consumption, i am frustrated by my skin sensitivity. I tried bacopa i am optimistic about it do its anti-inflammation property and anti-histamine property. I tell i felt that little sensation of eczema but it was so decreased and tolerable, not like other meds and herbs i take.

    I've been researching about bacopa for the last several months and I didn't start taking it because it helps memory etc but because of the neurological help it gives the brain being that I was having the huge issues with my vagus nerve and ever since I started taking the bacopa I no longer have problems with it except twice and it was soooo mild and I only received small side effects when it triggered nowhere near what was happening all year, not at all!! I haven't had one of those attacks that go down into my heart, the lungs and make me start passing out till it hit my bowel and I would start shaking almost like a seizure it was getting so scary seriousIy practically lived in the hospital in 2023 smh every since I started taking this stuff it's the only thing I think that could be what's working because it's the only thing that I have changed since I've started feeling better despite all the meds that they put me on and whatnot it's when I started taking this as a tincture is when I started feeling better. 💯

      I started taking Bacopa in capsule form about three weeks ago. I use it to combat insomnia, and it's been great so far! Also, I have anxiety about driving on the expressway/freeway. However, the first time I drove on the expressway after trying bacopa, I was calm and super focused. I was amazed by how relaxed and calm I felt while driving on the expressway because I've always felt so much anxiety. I have not experienced any side effects, and my mind is clearer. It's been effective for me. I'm going to look into gotu kola since you recommended it. Thanks for this information!

    • @JessicaNortonND

      this would be something to talk with your prescribing doctor about as bacopa can theoretically alter the levels of drugs that work on cytochrome P450 substrates (a liver enzyme that is affected by sertraline)

    I have a REALLY weird problem; I ingested some magic mushrooms at the beginning of October for "therapeutic" benefits but ended up having a really bad experience. A headache continued the next day, and next, and now for 4 months I have had headaches and nausea of varying degrees all day long from morning to night. I have had an MRI, EEG, acupuncture, reiki, a neurologist and many migraine pills and SSRI and gabapentin, but nothing so far is working. Worse, the professionals can't even diagnose what happened, it's out of their clinical knowledge. Do you think I should try looking at a naturopath and the kind of alternative therapies and nootropics they would offer? I would like to try alternative herbs like bacopa, but only if someone were monitoring me. Stupid mushrooms. Permanent headache is not a known side effect :(

    • @JessicaNortonND
      @JessicaNortonND  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I've seen a similar reaction clinically. It took about a year for the headache to stop. So I would say yes it could be worthwhile to investigate with a local doc

      @@JessicaNortonND Thank you! The cycle so far seems bad headache for 3 weeks, then it backs off a bit for a week (but still there) and then returns for three weeks. So weird. I do hope it goes away. Do you have any idea what is happening in the brain? My doctors don't have any theory.

      @@JasonHauser125It will fade my love, mushrooms tend to not like you if you have a poorly built spiritual life...I can leave you with some subjective things that I've learned from listening to the many that I have seen that have been on trips as well as myself...but remember this isn't clinical. There tend to be bad trips and long lasting side effects for those who again don't have a solid foundation spiritually (I went through psychosis for 8 months) and really good trips and long lasting benifits for those who are more spiritually inclined and/or grounded. My psychosis would start from when I opened my eyes in the morning until I fell asleep at night for months, but when I cried out to and developed my relationship with Jesus, slowly it began to fade...now I am back in regular reality; no numbers, no patterns, no voices, no shady people, no headaches, no night terrors it's ALL GONE. But if you want the loop to end you have to step out in faith. Do with this information what you will, it will not be static in others's stories so trying to find corroberating POV's is going to be challenging for you and I am sorry about that in advance. I wish you all the best Jason, and I will be praying for you. Jesus can do what those doctors can't...I promise. ❤️☁️
