Back to grip. Rapid fire, again diagnose grip while firing. Shoot only as long as you can see sight.

My personal advice for doing reloads in an indoor range is to bring a basket to catch your falling mags. If you can adjust the bay table lower than you, put the box and make sure it's large enough to prevent your dropped mags from bouncing. The last thing you want is to have your empties bounce into the range and you bothered the whole room to fish for it.
I've started using my range bag on the table to practice mag changes. It's still a bit slower(because I have to be deliberate on *where* I drop it), but it's better than nothing.

The guy who usually trains me is a retired green beret, teaches SWAT for the city and state, is a badged deputy, and does occasional work for “government agencies”. He teaches to spend most of your time point shooting at full size targets. He said that in all of his close range combat with pistol or rifle, he can’t remember ever looking at his sights.

@@ayylmao5121 Even stranger is that I was only able to be at the range because I could get a buddy to join me...they don't allow singles to RENT if by yourself...insurance regs won't allow it. One of the best training videos I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been in this game a very long time.
As always this is incredibly helpful, the trigger reset info in particular
Excellent education, Sir! I've been doing exactly what you mentioned at 9:00: "pinning the trigger to the wall." And yes, I'm consistently low and left! Thank you for the lesson, and making my range time more engaging.
Hey Lucas, I found this video very helpful for variations during indoor. I'm from the Caribbean and T REX has a best presentation of vids and equipment that I Believe is great to follow. All the best.
I learned a lot from this information! In my area, there are only indoor ranges open to the public. As you stated, they don’t allow you to draw from the holster and no rapid firing. As a woman and new to shooting, I was able to take a look at what I am doing incorrectly. Fortunately, today I had the range to myself so I didn’t feel rushed. Thanks for the info!
Finally. Thanks Lucas. You the man. Hopefully one day I can learn from you in person.
100%best video of this month for me stuck in ca indoor only with every rule you can think of !!!! Ran these drill today thank you ! Gave me something to do before Covid gets me !!!! Love it think I am going to binge watch your channel tonight !
Thank you for this outstanding video. This video is filled with valuable info from start to finish. I will watch it many times.
Never have seen a bad video from him! He is wise beyond his years!
Great video! You’ve definitely given me some insight for the range. I’ve felt lost at the range as far as what to do next and what to focus on. I dry fire at least three days a week. I’m a new gun owner and learning a lot.
Awesome info, it's great you put these videos together for people who don't have the same opportunities we do. Love what you are doing for the community of people who want to be able to protect themselves and others.
Thanks for this tip/lectures Lucas. You make training easily understood. Good job
Damn you even shoot staples fast, can't help yourself huh. A trigger is a trigger haha
I admire that you included a few misses in the run and gun segment at the end of the video. Show training counts. Used a few of these drills myself today. Appreciate you taking the time to make this video
On my second double-tap with a three second gap in between, I was told that if I did it again, I'd be banned from returning to the range lol
Merica
just do it
@@ayylmao5121 Even stranger is that I was only able to be at the range because I could get a buddy to join me...they don't allow singles to RENT if by yourself...insurance regs won't allow it.
It seems that over the period of five years, three depressed souls decided to off themselves on the ranges, and the insurance leeches decided they weren't going to cover those sorts of injuries.
So even though I've been a dozen times, they now require me to bring a moving target with me :-}
Fuckin Fudds
ColdCanuck50. are you talking about Target Masters in Milpitas California? out in Dublin there is a store called Guns Fishing & Other Stuff it has a range and they allow double taps
You're a kid that knows his stuff. Thank you I learned a lot.
My local range used to regulate how fast you could shoot. Then they realized that people weren’t coming back because one of their RSOs was literally using the stopwatch in his phone to tell if people were firing multiple times within a second. They fired him and got rid of those stupid rules. Then they got full auto stuff to bring back the customers that they lost
I have to say, I am truly impressed by your smooth knowledge presentation. You know your stuff and you demonstrate superb skills.
10:12 "when I'm focussing on my trigger stuff..not paying attention to accuracy..." as he puts 10 in the same spot haha
goodness what do his normal groups looks like lol
Haha I went back and watched again he shoots the same hole almost every time
I went to the range today with these tips and shit you not it was my most accurate day yet with the trigger tips! Huge improvement thank you
I agree that indoor ranges have their place, especially since you don’t have to wait for favorable weather.
Rob was gonna say “favorable weather?” If it aint raining you aint training!
Very useful and straight forward training content, the way you commentate throughout the vid keeps the interest to the end, always good to watch and take away info to practice with.
Lol, yes they break and fall out
Man, I am loving how you present your material. thank you
I seriously just watched this whole video sitting on the toilet. My wife accused me of watching porn and I said no it's just Lucas from Trex Arms and she was like "Oh." Keep the videos coming TRex👍
Me too...I had earphones on to make it seem worse, lol.
Same thing.
I knew I wasn’t alone.
Gatta have that volume all the way up.. hell hook up to a little bluetooth speaker lmao
I love watching videos on my throne
It is absolutely incredible how much I have learned from just watching videos I Hardly have time to shoot but I do have time to watch videos and dry fire at night This young man is fantastic He must have spent 5 to 6 figures on lessons not to mention countless hours at the range and I get to watch a 20 minute video And know the mechanics of what to do. Keep up the great work I would like to say thank you for this content it is so helpful
Love the great suggestions I'm taking this to the range with me. Would be interesting to see a moderate or inexperienced shooter beside you to see what Doing It Wrong works like
This was such a good and informative video for me. I believe it is the best one that I've seen in a while. Good explanations and demonstration
Great tips and 4k quality looks awesome on my 60” 4k tv
You're a hell of a teacher young man 👍🏻
Thanks Lucas , Great Info and Video ... 👍

Fantastic video. Most people will never get to an outdoor range and this is incredibly helpful. Thank you.

I’m like dang. What if I only got 10 rounds cuz I’m running a subcompact lol

I love this page!!! Just got my first pistol Hellcat Pro on Thursday went indoors and put 100 down range. Felt great compared to my dad glock 21 .45!!! I’ve learned so much about the trigger and how to control it.. keep up the great videos
Can you make a video for dry fire training please??!
Done
People talk so much crap on trex arms but this guy has taught me hella and he’s very consistent. Would love to spend a day shooting with him.
Finally! Thank you for this!😁😊
Man, You are my Hero. So much really good info. You don't know just how much you just helped me. Thank You.👍
I love this guy! This is that young guy who is confident in his knowledge and everybody hates him. 🤣
This is an EXCELLENT instructional video !! Great job and keep these videos coming !!
All those fudd RSO's "whoa there buster, you have to keep that barrel level when you reload. You can't point it up"
So much knowledge and experience on a relatively young head.
Always enjoy your posts and learn and or revise my fundamentals accordingly.
God bless
