You can get the Gerber tool kit, bit adapter and bits for $20. I am pretty sure it works, but the kit is meant for the square phillips on the MP models like the MP400, MP600, and MP800. I don't have any Gerber Multitools yet, but I am looking at them, ever since I learned about the tool kit.
Thank you. Went and got one. The only thing I would add is the can opener takes a little getting used to not my favorite on the multi tools I own. But overall this tool works good. Love the reviews keep up the good work 😊👍

Gerber scissors cut best close to the pivot - not the tip other multi scissors favour. Sad but true the Gerber Suspension NXT and costco bolster have it all - sub 6oz and more pocketable (no bit kits/drivers for length) with more tools and better pliers! Many bearded girls have wept that tacticool skeletool urban wannabe warrior is bested by an everyman tool lol
I try to buy American made but have other outdoor gear needs so cannot justify $100 for a light duty multi-tool. Overall this fits MY needs and would be perfect if it had saw instead of scissors. For camping, undoing knots, small cutting tasks, etc.
The Gerber Diesel had the best pair of scissors I’ve ever had on a multitool but unfortunately the rest of it didn’t work well for me. I went Leatherman and haven’t looked back. Worth the little extra money for a bulletproof 25-year warranty.
I thought it was the afro man song playing during the intro at first lol I bought this tool and used it immediately everyday multiple times. I got drunk and lost it and I bought it without hesitation a few days after that, 10/10 product. The knife isnt huge but overall great designs and lightweight makes up for it
If your going to do a review, can you please be honest about it? I clicked on your Amazon referral link and the price is over $30.00. If your getting more money of the sale of the multi tool that's cool.. But again update the price on your description.

@@chrisclark4640 Yeah I wasn't berating the Charge although LM are a tad overpriced. I wouldn't buy a Suspension though as it's just another Chinese MT, I believe there is an almost identical Ganzo, no doubt made in the same factory. I try not to collect multitools and knives but they seem to increase in quantity lol. Also I learned not to bother with cheapy multitools. At the moment I have 2 Leathermans (Squirt PS4 and Rebar), a Gerber MP600 and a SOG. So obviously I need to get a Swisstool as I know it will be excellent.
eBay is a good way to add to your collection ;). For me the charge is one of those tools you get because you want one, don’t have to justify it just enjoy it !!
@@gearsNtools Here in the UK British ebay sellers aren't even allowed to sell bladed implements. I do see Leathermans (mostly second hand) from US sellers but after shipping and import duties they're normally double the price. I have purchased a couple of SAKs on Amazon at good prices. Generally I look around a number of suppliers from time to time and stumble across bargains and pull the trigger then. If I see a Charge for a good price I may well get that later on.

The only thing I don't like about mine is the handles don't line up when closed seems to be a common thing with the nxt but they still work great
I noticed that on mine too, you can tweak it back into alignment if you want :).
for the price point it's hard to argue with the overall package!

Also, I resent the tools with the useless fish scaler/ruler, what a cop-out use of space. Put something there that truly enhances the utility.

Yes 420HC is a stainless grade
Gerber scissors are the worst. If they do not want to put quality scissors out there, rather add separate blades, and not the combo.
Hate that gerber stuff always just looks cheap....
I hear that, they have some clever designs but it’s not quite the fit & finish of Leatherman or Victorinox
