I bought the Swiss tool and find it very slippery when using the pliers. Some strips of thin grip tape might do the trick. Also the width of the plier handles are a little wide.
@@gearsNtools I dislike the factory pouch too so I’ll probably have a kydex holster made for it and just use a mag pouch for the time being. The polymer clip that’s optional with the Swiss tool X looks decent but it’s not available with the spirit sadly.
The XBS and the Spirit X, are the best edc multitools out there. I never went back to Leathermans since I tried them! Just a tip. When you go for any kind of too, next time, avoid newer made ones. Almost all the tool companies I love, like Victorinox, Knipex etc, all used to have better quality in the past. When I got the Spirit X, I remember I was using it all day everyday!!! Probably, the best tool I ever had, enjoy!!!

Hello I have to buy another multitool. I'm unsure between leatherman free p4 and victorinox swisstool x. Waht do you advise? I have 7 leatherman and 3 victorinox spirit models. I find in Italy free p4 from 155 to 189 euro and swisstool 115 euro. Thank you
@@gearsNtools Thanks. I already have 3 types of spirits. But I have to fly to Italy and return to Spain with a VAN. I can't take a multitool on the plane so I buy another one for the return. I really like the design and engineering of freep4 and that is something new. But I also really like swisstool X.

The Swiss Tool x is better. The Swiss Tool Spirit is lighter weight and more comfortable in the hand. Got it.

wire bender also pulls up nails....screwdriver part is good as a socket driver too.
I love X but i don't get it why Spirit is more expensive.. ?
