MC- that was super instructional! You've given me the confidence to do this myself! Thanks for your clear instructions! Will save a ton on calling a pro!
Hey Mr Fix it, great video with clear instructions. Mine is similar but the burners come out one at a time instead of all four at once like yours. You helped save me some money. Thanks for showing how to clean it too
You are right! The sun was going down and that's the only light I could find that was charged. I'm working on getting some new cordless lights for projects. I'm glad it was helpful!
You should also clean the orifice for each burner, they are the brass pieces through which gas flows from the gas manifold tube. A stripped piece of small copper wire is useful to clean the orifices.
Very helpful video! Thanks for posting. My exhaust fan is making noise. This is for 20 years old Bryant Plus 90. Any video on that? Or any tip to replace it or service it?
Sorry, no. I did a full replacement on the AC and heating this past summer. I was done fixing this older Bryant furance. I ended up putting in a Goodman that's running so much better and way less propane because it's actually a big enough furnace for my whole house.
Mine is doing the same thing. The side where it's doing it on my unit is very warm too compared to the other side. I think this is a project that I will be able to do myself. We have natural gas does that matter?
No i didn't get any codes. I could tell by looking in the viewing hole that the burn was not good. It also a bit warmer on the right side of the furnace than normal.
I did. It was the burner and they weren’t able to get the part and fix it for almost a week or more due to being in the middle of winter, but they gave me the part number and I watched them disassemble it. They thought they had a part and it was on back order. I found it on Amazon and fixed it. Thanks for that info though!

Thanks, this saved me having to call in a professional. Mine had a lot of yellow/orange flame on the opposite side. It's go to be the same issue.
You are welcome. It should be a nice blue color. Often the yellow/orange is not a good burn. Glad you are able to get it fixed yourself!

Thanks. This is exactly the furnace I have, and the video really helped.
Glad it hear it helped. Thanks for commenting!
Great instructions. Very clear and understandable. You may need a new LED light because it's strobing on your camera.

Just what I needed to complete my project!
You are welcome. Glad it was helpful!
Great video. I have a very similar furnace. This helped me get out the burners and replace them all
Glad I could help. I'm glad you were able to fix it yourself!
How is it working now?
Great! Nice and warm inside. It's about 18* outside and 69* inside.
You should also clean the orifice for each burner, they are the brass pieces through which gas flows from the gas manifold tube. A stripped piece of small copper wire is useful to clean the orifices.
Great tip! Thanks for adding this comment!

Type of gas doesn’t matter! Good luck on your project
Was you roll out switch tripping ? I am doing the same job on same furnace for my customer. The flames was all over the fire box
I don't remember, sorry! The flames on this were all over too on the one side. This fixed the problem. Best of luck on your project.
Did you get any codes?
No i didn't get any codes. I could tell by looking in the viewing hole that the burn was not good. It also a bit warmer on the right side of the furnace than normal.
Have an HVAC guy check the furnace if it's hotter on one side good chance it's the secondary heat exchanger on that model.
