Looovee this! You can also use Flaxseed meal(just use a coffee grinder) as a binder as it also release a mucilage like okoro and ground ogbono when boiled.

Good day. It's on Konga. Check the description box. And if you are not on a low carb diet, you can actually use any other flour to bind it like I did in some of my other low carb fufu meals eg in my tigernut fufu meal: th-cam.com/video/w2ZHcOdWuc0/w-d-xo.html

Cauliflower rice is a rice alternative for those on a keto diet. Watch the following videos:

Cauliflower White Rice (skip the normal rice since you are on keto): th-cam.com/video/oYoLyXSBtnI/w-d-xo.html then serve with any keto friendly sauce.

The more questions I get, the more I learn. Requests for Nigerian low carb meals started flooding in about 2 years ago and last year was the ketogenic diet boom in Nigeria so as the requests for me to share my takes on keto recipes came in, I had to read up and gain knowledge on those too. The rest of us may not know about it but this cabbage fufu is a popular one in the keto family. There's no end to this learning Chibuike! :D :D

Yes I tested it and once it is well wrapped, it will last up to 48 hours in a constantly working fridge. When you want to eat, heat it up on low heat in a microwave oven or warm it in a pot of boiling water like Moi Moi, mix again and enjoy. I prefer the texture of the one warmed in a pot.

If you are not on a strict low carb diet like keto or on a gluten-free diet yes, you can try it and see if you like the combo. I say "if you like the combo" because I was thinking that because cabbage is too "vegetably", it may not integrate well with flour the way something like say tigernuts flour integrates with flour. Please I would like a feedback on that if you try it. Thanks.
