    Nice and creative recipe.
    In my opinion, you could have saved a little of the cabbage water to use in place of the drops of water added later.
    I hope to try this recipe soon using a little of the cabbage water because of the nutrients in it.
    Well done.

    I just finished making this recipe, and it is cooling per instructions. It was a pleasure to make. Not having ordinary psyllium husk, I measured out 6 Metamucil capsules into a teaspoon and used them.. I love the simplicity and format of your channel. No frills, distractions, no idle talking, just simple straightforward instructions whenever warranted show up on screen. It is so easy to follow your example. Five stars for your excellence. Nice idea and great healthy alternative. Wondering though, why discard the carbage water? Am sure it contains vital nutrients that could be used further in the cooking process. Either added during the cooking of the fufu or even to the soup or sauce.

      The most nutrients are in the water and also wonder what it’s used for!? As a Holistic Health Consultant, I would recommend the viewers with stomach ulcers to use it as it’s the one of the best natural remedies for stomach problems. Please avoid the plastic to wrap or keep your fufu while warm/hot due to lots of chemicals it releases while food is hot!

    I tried this cabbage fufu and for a binding agent I used white corn meal which is what we eat throughout southern Africa in Zambia it is nshima in Zimbabwe sadza and Kenya ugali. I first made a paste with the corn meal then added boiling water which thickens it(that's how we cook nshima), then let it boil to cook it. As it was still boiling I took a ladle spoonful of the liquid nshima and added to the cabbage pulp in the pot and kept turning it and then let it cook on very low heat for 5mins and it was ready my God the taste was fingerlicking delicious. Thanx for the inspiration.

    When I tell ppl stop eating rice, pounded yam and all other high carbohydrate food, they tell me what should I eat then even after telling them. I’m glad you made this video. Hypertension is killing our people but they don’t know it has more to do with the high carb/sugar food.

    This is the best fufu ever. Particularly for those of us who have to eat more vegetables n fruits to assist in weight control. I would have suggested that the cabbage water be made useful . Either we boil n drink or make other vegetables sauce with the water. This is because we normally eat cabbages as salad or in Fried rice n now as fufu. Does it mean the cabbage water is poisonous or just not important?

    • @Globalfoodbook1
      @Globalfoodbook1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your compliments. Sure, the cabbage water can be used for other purposes. It’s not poisonous. I only discarded it because I didn’t have need for it at the time.
