Thanks..... enjoyed that one

Yes! Show us the cheese! I think this may be my next rifle!
Also tell them to make them with AR and AK mags.
California and NY will buy them in droves
Before seeing this rifle I'd never been excited about a straight pull rifle. This rifle's modularity makes it amazing.
🤘 😁 🤘
The homebrew configuration potential of this rifle with a 3d printer and a little bit of imagination is EXCITING.
in my mind right now:
• External gas tube connecting to the bolt handle
• Bullpup conversion kit
Swappable left/right ejection makes this just perfect for lefty-friendly Bullpup.
Beretta is continually innovating. They are hopefully putting pressure on the industry to follow suit.
Considering there is a market for scout rifles/carbine length bolt guns, I always wondered why there wasnt a straight pull rifle available. This honestly looks pretty cool!
Straight pull costs more to make, and is not faster than regular turn bolt in practice, that's why it's uncommon
It's much faster.

They are available, Savage came out with one in 2021
@@KeenanBaker Savage Impulse, great rifle for hunting but not so great for target shooting :/
I never understood bolt guns filling that role figured it always should have been lever guns.
I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for a bolt gun quite like this before. Most definitely interested.
With how amazing rifles like the Mannlicher and the Swiss K31 are to shoot, I'm surprise straight pull hasn't been a staple to the bolt action world by now. A few guys with straight pulls can achieve a bombastic fire rate altogether.
It's mostly cost and reliability related.
They're starting to get to a point where they're likely to be picked up by more recreational shooters.
I know Savage has their Impulse, and I've already seen a hunter carrying one for boar.
Yeah, the Mauser 98 type action just dominated for it's ruggedness. Plus, between Teddy Roosevelt and Elmer Kieth, rifles like the Springfield 1903 and Winchester Model 70 just became the standard by which other rifles at the time would be judged.
James does appreciate a good Mannlicher.
@@rickh9396 LOL, I saw what you did there
The M1 Garand made the bolt actions obsolete and every military worth a damn around the world went with auto loaders. The only market for bolt actions is collectors and hunters.
Finally a worthy rival for the Mosin Nagant
Not on its best day, reconvene in 100 years then we'll do math
😂 Arguing what bolt action is best is like asking which bicycle is best on the freeway.
Finally a worthy successor to the Austro-Hungarian MANNLICKER.
😂
Everyone's a commie until you're cramming a poorly made stripper clip into a mosin while the Germans are encircling your trench.
At 11:03, I legitimately thought James was shooting at a moving vehicle. That being said, this rifle is gorgeous.
I was
The 92, the 1301/A300, and now this. Beretta, well done!
There's so many awesome engineering tricks in this that demonstrates they're really thinking about the common man who may want to change things up. That trigger adjustment system is sheer brilliance.
3:29 that cats going crazy lol
Wait, there was a rifle in this video? All I saw was a white cat going absolutely NUTS! 😂
How are there not more comments about that car???
Nobody gives a shit about the cats.
@@NietzscheanMan cool
I’ve been waiting for an Americanized BRX-1 and lo and behold..Papa James blesses me with one
Beretta has been bringing the heat lately.
3:27 Is that one of those Beretta Tomcats I've heard so much about?
If this comes out with an all metal AR mag adapter (223 and 308 models), different barrel and stock options, I will buy one in a heart beat. This puts the Steyr Scout to shame on initial impressions. Imagine this offered with an option for PRS chassis systems in 6.5 Creedmoor, etc. Beretta can offer different barrels, etc for 6 mm loads. You essentially have a Blaser. I hope they offer a two stage trigger as well.
About time someone made a modular k31 swiss.
Looking forward to what the aftermarket does with this.
With true modularity, this rifle could well be one of the best hunting/tactical/survival rifle systems of all time. Reasonably, you’re only limited by your own imagination. Beretta gives the shooter the ability to mission tailor specific parameters, without sacrificing capabilities. All engineering is a compromise. Beretta has made it possible for the shooter to “tweak” the weapons system to their own needs. Bravo, Beretta! Truly OUTSTANDING!
I could see this being very successful in ban states, especially ones where the law as written allows for no compliant AR-15’s like WA and IL, but people have a ton of magazines lying around. Plus the threaded barrel on this rifle isn’t a prohibited feature, because it’s not semi automatic.
"Kind of Beretta's first rifle?" My 60 year old BM-59 respectfully disagrees with that statement!
They also make assault rifles for the Italian military so im guessing they mean the first hunting rifle.
I think if they marketed this thing right and could offer it in 8.6 blackout with the correct barrel twist it could be a serious competitor to the Q fix. Too bad that probably won't be the case.
The Ruger American is a folding-stock chassis away from being a Fix with free optic and 1,000 rds for training included.
300 Blackout Pistol/SBR would be sick!
Now you need to do an accuracy test on paper, whether 6.5 CM or .308 just for giggles. Also where would one find the program for the 3D adapter for the AR10 mags?
I'm loving this setup. I watched the other video on it and the action looks awesome. I hope to pick one up late '25 after they have some time for the market to adapt to it
I was eyeballing the new Ruger American Gen2 for a simple scout rifle in good caliber, but if these come in at a good price and are reliable, I could see myself owning one.
The standard model is MSRP $1,599
Yeah I want the ruger in 5.56. It takes ar mags so I’m already good on mags
@@NotHunterCooperalways a catch. I hope they come out with a budget option that's around $600 or maybe just a barreled action so I could build it to the specs I'd like
Going with the 6.5 Grendel. Just need to decide in waiting for the Gen2 or picking up a Gen1 at a discount. The heavier bullets and greater effective range do it for me.
Beretta is kinda pulling a smart move: everyone in the U.S. market is trying to sell their ar15 or a glock clone or a sig p365 colne. Meanwhile Beretta is looking at some of the more niche markets like semi auto shotguns and bolt rifles and trying to take a qusi-monopoly on the market.
I love how he asked about 300blk like 1 minute after I was thinking this could be incredible suppressed.
Brilliant! This is exactly what I've been looking for but with so much more versatility over the Impulse. A modular and modern K-31.
Make it in 308 with a 16-18" threaded barrel taking AICS or SR25 mags at 1k and you wont be able to make them fast enough.
We'd all love that but you know this things gonna be $1,899 minimum
It has 308 in those barrel lengths on their product website but I'm still unsure of magazine compatibility
It has 308 in those barrel lengths on their product website but I'm still unsure of magazine compatibility
Its called a Savage Impulse - did it sooner, cheaper and USA made
@gregbarber8758 i have both rifles both great but the beretta in the hand is a heap lighter and ergo is betrer and bolt cycles so much smoother and faster
Shout out to the boys at FTW Ranch! Phenomenal instructors, and one of the best experiences I've had with long range shooting!
I have a Blaser R93 LRS2 and the only thing that amazes me more than its slick straight pull action is the fact that they aren't more common.
They're pretty expensive
@PokeyDog-qy8yr Sorry, I meant the action style, not necessarily the Blaser brand itself. I know they are obscenely expensive, I got mine as a police trade in and it was still 2k.
That trigger pack is mega, being able to adjust the weight by just moving that thumb stud, awesome idea.
I'm not in the market for a 'manual' rifle, but it'd definitely be on my radar if I was.
Reminds me a whole lot of my Blaser R93 LRS2. The barrel swapping id so similar alongside the steaight pull similarity. If the aftermarket takes off these could be amazing rifles!
Essentially the same less the collet locking system which is stronger, more compact and precise.
Looks like a Nice Bolt action James 🤠 I do prefer a mag fed bolt action. I like the inferred Lazer setup 👍
Iron sights would be cool too
Never thought I would see an EOtech and NVLAD on a bolt gun like this.
I'm excited to see the modularity of options they'll have in the future.
Id buy one. I do my own cerakote and the modularity would make it easy to take apart to blast and cerakote it.
I just bought a 1301 tactical , would 100% buy this in 6.5 or .308
3:28 cat
Cat in the background at 3:30 🤣
I haven't been this excited about a bolt action in a long time. How's the accuracy?
Beretta guarantees sub-MOA.
@@tfbtv Nice! Thank you for the reply.
If it hits a decent street price in the US I could see a huge aftermarket popping up.
Standard model is MSRP $1,599
@@NotHunterCooper 😐
@NotHunterCooper I would rather have 2 AR-10's for the same money.
@@celmer6 What AR10 would perform the same or better at 800?
@@celmer6 What AR10 would perform the same or better at 800?
I would love to see Beretta put out a tactical version of this. Sometimes aftermarket conversions don’t work well and it’s wasted effort and money. I typically use tactical style cause it makes most of my gun accessories interchangeable and quick (and helps save money for another gun purchase lol)
300blk with AR mags would be killer
Yes 300 blackout would be great and something would buy !
Literally the first thing I thought of when I saw THIS rifle was 300 BLK. Awesome rifle, best channel on TH-cam.
Thinking about a woodland 300 blackout just gave me a halfie.
This is definitely a new straight pull that I would consider!!!! Hats off to Beretta!!!!
And having the ability to switch to 300 blackout is a definite plus (hint hint Beretta)
I will buy two of these if they release it in this configuration 6.5cm and 300ACC blackout
Good option for bolt gun hubnters where fast follow ups matter. Tacticool version is worth offering. One of only a handful of bolt guns I would look at.
Aluminum pillar bedding blocks would be a nice addition
This is going to sell like crazy in Canada
It's too heavy. Almost Bought one
Straight pull! I'm sold. Would make a great friend to my K31 Swiss
I noticed that a 100yd grouping wasn’t shown. That’s not a good sign. Also, the 1913 rail looks way too weak for heavier scopes.
We shot steel the whole time. They guarantee sub-MOA accuracy.
@@tfbtv'guarantee' yet ya'll didn't test it?
Even if it wasn't intentional. I could see how one might interpret it that way.
can you even shoot under 1MOA? 🤣
@@matthewbeaver5026 i heard beretta say that you can actually look up your exact gun's accuracy chart from the test fire with a a QR code.
I have the BRX-1 in use as a hunting rifle. have to look into the magazine adaption
This is how you make sales, by pitching to the aftermarket. Bravo, never knew I wanted a bolt action so bad. Mag adapter is a lil funky from a tactical perspective though…
That's a very attractive bit of kit.
I may be crazy, but picture if you will, this Tactical version... in a Short/NATO length cartridge. .223 for cheap plinking (and pretty quiet with a can), .300 blackout for really quiet plinking/medium game.... .458SOCOM/.450 Bushmaster. All in 1 "gun". Its a faster bolt action (meaning quiet with a can) AR15 with no port pop. Take my money Beretta. Of course you'd need barrel swaps too, but thats been "done" before aswell.
That's pretty cool. Are these 308/30-06/300winmag like their "long action" and the 223/5.56 (maybe a 6.5creed😶) going to be short? Regardless I'd be interested in the 308.
I WANT ONE!!!!!! The BRX1 is in my top 3 rifles to get this year.
I was saying in the first video, this thing is absolutely gorgeous
but I don't have a use for it.
300 black Tac out with a suppressor. That's something I can get into.
I love mine just waiting on barrels and new caliber options !
Have to wonder why the magazine collar goes on the magazine and not the gun. Looks promising though
I'd definitely want to see this reversed, too. While 3d printing a collar is easy and cheap, mag storage with a collar would be a no go if you want this thing to be able to stand beside the AR 15.
Another cat video James, that white kitty going Chucky in the background was awesome. The rifle looks ok too, how does it group?
Just throwing it out there it would be great to have it take aics magazines and rework the lower for the paddle style catch
Cat in the background was the best part 😂
I own this Rifle for 2 years now (living in Germany) I love it, but I still wait for the changeable Barrels / Actions. I hope they will be available since the Rifle is now available in the US too.
I would love to see a slide/pump action conversion kit.
Left handed shooter here. Wil purchase the Tactical model the second its available. (left elbow injury requires me to use a pistol grip)
3:28 cat!
If you are at IWA loom up our booth 4A117 we have a chassis upgrade kit for Beretta BRX1
Nice rifle, thanks
They need to bring that to market
I really hope they decide to sell the AR mag adapter. I have am RPR that takes them and an SFAR set up like Hop's. I'd love to have something in the middle that could serve the role of a lighter, suppressible recon rifle with a higher capacity than my Gunsite Scout. Love my Scout, but it's really only good for hunting in today's market.
Very nice! Love ro have a tactical style with a heavier barrel for the range.
Love my brx rifle... The only thing im missing on it is some m-lock rails on the front
Yes! make them! I want one in 22ARC
Holy crap! I’m getting one of these, some how, some way, I will have one!
Awesome! When does it get released in the US?
16" 300BLK, with STANANG mag please!!!! The Q minifix can't even be found because it's in such high demand and this does everything it does, better.
I will gladly pay two k if this is full ambi, threaded, swap barrels, common mag adapters. Straight pull, and if weight accuracy is there it will sell like crazy.
Not a hit but an observation. You have got to be the most Gucci content creator in the gun world. You know everyone and stuff like this rig is fascinating but out of reach for most people. Yet you are not condescending when presenting. I'm proud to own a trailer park 12 gauge that survived your 500 round burndown.
Get that on the market!!!!!
I'm very impressed!!!🤯
A short barrel with suppressor or better yet an integral suppressed barrel would be a great option for this rifle.
Interesting, Savage's introduction of a new modern ambidextrous straight pull action rifle two years ago now has other companies playing catchup in order to fill the market with what is seen as a void worthy of filling.
Savage was late to the straightpull market, Beretta isnt playing catch-up to someone whos close to last place.
@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz Fact check - Which company's product can you buy now in a store near you? Correct Savage not Beretta's, and you won't be able to buy Beretta's for some time if at all if one pays attention to the dialog. If you have a lovely bunch of hate for Savage that's fine but that doesn't change the fact that they brought a ambi straight pull bolt action to the market two years ago. Probably Savage started their R&D ten years ago for the product now available for you to buy if you wish. I'm not a big fan of Savage myself but I'll admit they've brought some Innovations the market that are now standard on many competitors.
I was looking to buy a couple of bolt action weapons. Now im going to purchase BRX1
We want one of those!
Modern Day modular Swiss K31 straight pull. Awesome design! 👍🏼
Would be cool to have a heavy barreled action in a chassis for PRS
That downward angle of the bolt is absolutely nuts.......
This but in .510 Whisper. It's a wildcat, but it's one hell of a wildcat.
Hopefully they can design a mag adapter that has traditional ar controls. Id like to insert the mag adapter and leave it in and only swap mags. I dont want to have to buy 20 adapters for each of my mags.
If Beretta made the gun like this one in the video, I’d consider it
Is it possible to get hold of the 3d print drawings for the magazine adapter?
Overall super nice platform, and this gun is even cooler. If they make it :)
I want one of these in 6.5 creed in a swat sniper vibe
