I'm having trouble finding any videos on how to use the TAP output A and TAP output B. Can these be used together? If so how? Can you show a video on the inputs only and how and if they can be utilized all together and at the same time if possible or options?
So, does the micro.clock have 128 presets recalled by sending a PC message as usual, and will it then send that tempo back to my Quad Cortex from whence the PC message came, so the QC responds to the micro.clock's preset tempo? Kinda like a two-way street.
In theory, yes, but the MIDI port on the micro.clock requires either a TRS to MIDI cable for MIDI out, or some adaptation to get MIDI in and out. Our devices handle this natively but it might take a bit of work to get this with the QC. Our SMARTClock would be a better choice as it has DIN MIDI in and out and would not require any special cabling.
@@tristanseume for output, sure, but if you need to do both input and output then you'll need something a bit more involved and we don't sell it. By the time you get the micro.clock and the conversion you'd need, you're over the cost of the SMARTClock.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns I see... Well, my micro clock arrives tomorrow! Second hand so a bargain, so maybe still worthwhile. What do I need? I do I just wait until Neural enable midi clock to be sent?! :D
I bought a dpc5 gen 3 and I want a gen 3 smart clock or a gen 3 micro clock. I want to control the Timeline. How should I connect the micro or smart watch? Do I have to connect directly to the Timeline or do I have to connect to the dpc5 to change tap tempo and subdivisions.
Is it possible to set it up where changing presets on the 8EZ won’t change presets on the micro.clock, and vice versa, where changing presets on the micro.clock won’t change the 8EZ? Basically, the 8EZ passes the tap info along to its MIDI controlled pedals, but it and the micro.clock work independently?
Sure, if you tell the micro.clock to use the Jack C as MIDI out only then it won't get any messages from the DPC. The DPC will receive the clock from the micro.clock but it won't be able to ask it to change presets, if that makes sense. Set up J C = MIO but then set the DIP switches with the "ring" set to OFF.
Greetings; I could make the video of the connection and programming of the DPC 5 gen 3 with the mini clock and another of the smart clock with the DPC 5 gen 3
It'll only send clock, not receive. I'm not sure that we can output PO sync for the Operators, but it's possible to send 3.3V pulses from the C jack. Maybe?
@@_skysick_ nothing, technically. They're "dry contact closures," they simulate switches. Most pedals use switches to trigger tap tempo, rather than pulses like synths. Fundamentally different setup.

@@DisasterAreaDesigns I have MIDI DIN to trs cables so should be ok??

I can get it to work, changing presets on the dpc8ez with micro clock. But when I save a new tempo on the micro, does not change

Just picked up one of these to sync my synths in a suitcase rig. Will it work with TE Pocket Operators?
Also, can it receive midi clock? Or only send?

@@DisasterAreaDesigns I think that should work. Manual says it takes sync signal "no more than 5vpp". Thanks!

@@DisasterAreaDesigns I get what you mean. So they're just opening and closing momentarily like a relay?

why is disaster Are not showing the meaning of both DIP Switches in the manual of the micro clock
