Hello there, question for you since you are well versed in Honda CRF’s. I have a 04 that idles fine and sitting it will throttle up fine however when I kick it in gear and try to take off it will bog down really bad and almost shut off. I checked the accelerator diaphragm which seems ok, any suggestions on what to check next? Thanks 🙏, great videos btw they are a huge help.
I am trying to do this on my bike now and I've gotten almost to the part where i can remove the carb. I cannot figure out how to remove the throttle linkage from the carb though, its a circle with cables on the top and bottom of it which rotates when the throttle is twisted. Probably the same as the one in the video. How do I take these off?
Noticing this myself.....just paid a shop$400 to clean carb tank fuel filter etc......still not running right asked them if they disassembled the bike to get it out kid who did work happened to be right there and was like no we just flushed it out! I am so pissed bout to just do it myself this way 😡😩
Thank you! I just bought a Honda 2001 cr250r and it had bad gas so I cleaned out the tank and removed the plastic too and, it was a bitch to remove the carb. Thanks man
Good luck. It’s an absolute disaster putting them on. I’d recommend that you stop. Wait a bit until you have the patience to do it again. And use the smallest wrenches you can to try and get the the cables back on.

Is there a video on this?
Yes look into smog delete or rejetting vids.
2 hours job that could have been 10 minutes
Hugley helpful thank you for all the detail. It was my first time doing the carb and I wouldn't have gotten too far without this video.
Looks like a nice little project I got into
Quality video. Just wish it wasn’t sped up so much because some parts were hard to see as it is.
Just got done pulling mine man what was Hondas engineers thinking.

Great video just bought an 06 250x qnd it's dumping gas as soon as the gas is turned on
Needle and seat is stuck. Tap the carb with a screw driver and it might stop the leak
Thank you for the vid! Hope I can get the air boot on tomorrow!
Helped a lot ! Seemed to easy to get out with the video! Thanks

Hi, do you know what size are the vent hoses that come out of the carb? Is it 3mm or 4mm? Thanks,
This is so helpful. It deserves way more view and likes. Thanks for doing this. I subscribed just to support your channel whatever else you cover.
Good lord. Step 1.) disassemble 75% of bike. Step 2.) remove carburetor.

@@sebertspestsolutions - That is appalling. But yeah, I'm going to try that at home first. Drown it in Sea Foam and see if I can get 'er goin'.

Great video. thanks for the help.
This is insanity
Engineering…”but you’ll have to remove everything to get to the carb…No they’ll have to” Problem solved.
I’m having trouble putting the throttle cables back on
