This is a great watch..specially the barometer graph with axis lets you know whether thr pressure is low or high as compared to the average, no other GShock has axis with Baro graph
Surprised this one isn't that popular.. I think this one is awesome. It's compact for all the features you get.. I like the overall design of it too.. it's not too gaudy... Shame seems like no one really sells this unless it's used.

I had this watch years ago. Unfortunately i couldnt manage to wear it comfortably because the strap was either too tight or too loose, so i sold it. However i think it's a shame they no longer release digital ABC g-shocks. I will never buy an ana/digi one because it's just difficult to read, and makes no sense.
Well, i´ve owned several G-Shocks, regular and master of G, Mudman G9300, which i still have, Riseman, Frogman GWF 1000, two GWG 1000 Mudmaster, GPR B 1000 Rangeman, GG 1000, GG B 100. Sold almost all of them and just recently i bought two new GW 9400 Rangeman. A black and a green one. If you don´t have it, you should get it. Still to this day, im my opinion, it´s one of the best G-Shocks ever made, if not the best.

The watch digital display will automatically be turned off to save power (=power saving mode ON), when the solar panel didn't detect presence of light.
I had my Riseman for 10 years. Now the display shows 'open'. Game over for my favorite watch because of a nonsense problem. The watch is not open. Really BS.
It shows 'open' normally when the backplate was removed, since the circuit will got disconnected that way. There're only 2 small visible gold spring once you remove the back. I'm guessing there's battery leak/oxidation/rust. Thing that could be cleaned just with a cotton bud.
@@ngkeehong3763 I was frustrated at the repair. I was nearly giving up and then i realised the problem!!! There are two very little gold springs at the backside of the module. These gold springs must have contact to a little golden plate on the backplate of the watch. That little golden plate was not in the right position. Its a little bit tricky to fix it, but i made it. The 'open' error is gone and the watch is ok. But be careful, when you open the watch! You can lose these little gold springs very easy. And you need a good loupe. Don't try without a good loupe! The gold springs a very very small.
Just picked one up secondhand for 77€.
It is on its way to me now.

I owned this watch a couple of years ago. It was a great watch. MB6 worked great, better that in the GWG 1000. Was too small for me though.

Yes they do. The GW-9400, the GBD-H1000, the GPR-B1000 are all digital ABC watches.

Mine was fine. Maybe you should try to disassemble & reassemble it back. Maybe something is loose or misaligned somewhere
