That last method is so in-character for Renne it is hillarious. Also, thanks for explaining the previous infinite-turn methods. As someone who's currently playing through Cold Steel III for the first time and planning to go for IV right after, I appreciate it :p
Are there acrually enemies immune to Gaius's S craft delay? I used him against the final boss on abyss+100 in TRC and they never got a single turn during the final phase (where i used him and a few people with accel orders)
Yes there are, or at least there should be. There are a handful of enemies that don't have a +200 delay resistance flag, but instead have an immune flag for delay. Against those enemies it doesn't work. Immunity to his delay was added in patch 1.10, the 5th patch of the game when they added the floors 5-9, the final character, and the post-game storyline. This was also the patch that they attempted to break other infinite turn mechanics such as forcing a 1 delay on almost everything and attempting to break Chrono Burst. As part of the patch notes Gaius was specifically mentioned. The west received patch 1.14 + everything NISA broke, so I guess there is a possibility they broke it and now it does work?
@@RozalinGaming it should be a NISA error because in the original CLE version there's nothing that's immune, not even the final boss. And I wasn't aware of a patch existing past 1.05
@@Kernviter The version the West got was ver. 1.14, a version that had already received 14 updates. NISA probably changed it to 1.00 for their launch, so technically the West is on ver. 1.19 then if 5 updates have been released.
@@michaelclifton9498 I just checked my VOD of my first time doing the fight (been 3 years so I kinda forgot lol), and there really wasn't much to it. it’a been a month. Earliest you can do this is when Fie joins. By this time, you have the higher evade gems available. Prior to this, I believe it’s at 80% +/-5% with the lovely Rixia.
@@jorgiebutt You can actually do it as early as when Sara joins tbh. Her self buff comes with Insight for 3 turns so if you can get 50 EVA on her, then she can be a near permanent evade tank
Hello, just wondering if you have any insight on how master quartz exp works. I beat a boss the other day and one of my MQ got 16 exp while another got like 4500. Would appreciate any help
MQ in your primary slot gain more XP than those in your secondary slot. Other than that, the level of the MQ and the level of the enemy defeated also play a role.
@@vulcanisful5739 You used to be able to do this in the CS games but not anymore. In Reverie, you only get the XP bonus from one party member's sub slot.

If you're talking about the Reverie Corridor characters, I have a video going over exactly how it works but the tl;dr is that it is semi-random based on your current main-story progression and who you've already pulled, and who will be pulled is determined when you loot the orb from an enemy, not when you actually go to pull the character.
@@RozalinGaming yes reverie corridor characters, i watched all your video, i ve been trying to get toval, but with party member of jusis, angelica, nadia, if jusis have the victory pose its always alfin, if angelica have the victory pose its always george. (this is on 2F).
so i sub a party member to agate, let him get the victory pose, and toval on 1st try, so i think relationship matter. i ll try again next floor, an easy one should be vita or roselia using emma.
@@Hijikata-T7 I can 100% guarantee party member relationship has no effect on who you get. The way characters are obtained and when they can be obtained has been tested extensively and the only thing that effects who can possibly be obtained is main story progression. Another method in CS3 that is similar to these is using Sara’s BO while an enemy is in break, attacking with everyone to regain bp then repeat
@@Evan-ri4yd You can alternatively just go infinite w/o needing to break by using Musse's BO + Chrono Burst.
