I had originally intended to go more in-depth with each character for this series of showcase videos but with 51 total characters it would have been a bit much; hence why I chose to do this brief overview style with a bit more elaboration on the stronger characters. Amazing video as always. I've been watching ever since you made the guides on the changes in P5R and your style has always been appealing and your information is always top notch! Would definitely enjoy seeing more Kiseki content from you in the future.
I got a suggestion from a friend to give Alisa the Mercurius Master Quartz (Liberation Rank D reward). Its gimmick is that it boosts damage done when hitting weak points, and it gives the lowest level art from every element so you can always hit a weak point. Since Alisa is one of the fastest primary casters, she can pump out S-Craft level damage at a good pace even with the weakest art. Combine that with her very useful support crafts and she's extremely flexible for all kinds of situations. In the late game, Mercurius can be combined with high-end quartz which grants the highest tier arts for some hilariously broken damage output. I left her secondary as Sophia for the utility of the Space arts.
Yep. Mercurius is the best MQ for a caster; the best sub-MQ with it is Pandora, unless you're using Altina then it's Gungnir since Altina has perma-stealth.
Roz is a master with character builds. I'm still making my way through Azure, but I'll save some of this info for Cold Steel III and IV as the guides come out (or whatever works in those games too anyway) :p
Out of all the character's in Lloyd's route it's got to be Alisa. Probably top 3 for me when it comes to flexibility and the amount of units that turn from good to busted like her lover Rean with her heavenly gift craft.
I'm just doing a build for fun for this game, in the old games I didn't really care much for a build, for strong characters I just upped strength a lot and gave them str accessories. For EVA tanks I just upped the EVA and STR. For Arts users, I just upped their ATS. With really no regard for their crafts or master quartz.
He's technically still good, but requires his stealth craft to be upgraded and his unique accessory; after that he can do perma-stealth. It's just that Rixia, Fie and Altina can do it easier and much sooner.
I'm saving all your videos and going to see about a playlist cuz your the only one I can see on TH-cam talking about this game . I wished this game did better to market and get to people hands cuz this year is alot of big games that can overshadow this game . I think falcom should make a deal with gamepass to also get this game in more folks hands and get a bag from Xbox . Xbox needs more Jrpgs and if falcom can understand that they can win money , more marketing , higher chance of folks playing these games and games win I feel . Anyone that's my spiel 😂
The hardest part of marketing Reverie is that it requires, at a minimum, the player to have played the previous 4 games (CS 1-4); though ideally the player would have played the previous 9 games since one of Reverie's purposes is a culmination of those games. It's unfortunate because the ongoing nature of the Kiseki series is both it's biggest strength (and uniqueness) and also it's achilles heel.
@@thedancingdragon6401 Once you get Kusanagi use both that and Gungnir as both boost crit. damage. Until then, anything that gives CP/turn if you still need it on her to hit perma-stealth, otherwise Valhalla, or one of the break damage MQs such as Skurd are decent options. Thing with Rixia is, none of the MQs have great secondary properties for her due to how easily she can be permanently in stealth; in most cases which is main and sub is interchangeable with her.
As mentioned in the video, perma-stealth. Get enough CP/turn to maintain 100% uptime on her self-buff and put the rest into crit. damage, speed, and physical attack. Gungnir and Kusanagi are good MQs to use for her since she'll have a 100% crit. rate while in stealth.

i find the bosses in lloyd route are tough. the fight with the two guys at the battleground. i had to retry with weaker
I have a question about Rixia. Do you think Murakumo and Gungnir is a good master quartz pair?
Gungnir is a good secondary MQ since Rixia can have 100% crit rate with perma-stealth. Murakumo is usable but not great on her.
