Nothing like the sound of a 125 two stroke!! Too bad Suzuki has not moved forward in years! I had a new RM 500 with the full floater suspension and it handled like a dream in the early 80,s it was the last year of the air cooled 500!
Now this RM sure looks and sounds fun !!!! From 1996 to 2003 I bought a new RM 125 and 250 each year and loved them all ( 2004 I switched to KTM and had a 03 SX 520 , 04 sx 250 smoker and a 04 SX 450 ) and never looked back lol - I loved my Zook's though , I have not rode a 125 in quite some time ( the last one I raced was about 10 years ago and it was a 91 Husqvarna( cagaiva lol ) wmx 125 and had a blast !!! I sold it shortly after though wish I kept it , pretty rare bike - riding a 125 imo is not as hard as some think - they are very light and do not tire you out and really only have 1 speed ( no xtra power on top end lol ) just always kept mine in 3rd gear and in the meat of the powerband and had a blast !!!! and bonus to me was I never rode a 125 that handled bad - come to think of it I still have one ( a 87 CR 125 Honda - kinda forgot about that one - wondering if you have any friends with the Triumph 250 ? 😁
You have owned quite the assortment of bikes! And funny you forgot about the '87 CR125! I still enjoy jumping on 125's. As you know I did a few ride videos on the Triumph TF250X. It is a very good first effort bike - quick and agile handling. The engine mapping could be better though it is reported to be refined for 25 model year and that map can be updated into the 24 model. I do not know anyone that has purchased that bike yet.
yeah 125's have to be ridden aggressively.....not for me anymore at my age......you did pretty good !!!!! jimmy decotis does a good job riding those as does carson browne.......where's charlie brown on tv these days......i like watching him this time of year
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours also.......lets enjoy our moto life as long as we can !!!!!!!!!!!

That looks like a lot of fun! I bet thing rolls through the corners lol.
I need a LOT more seat time to properly ride a 125 and yes the RM125 makes even a slow Vet rider like me feel like a hero in the corners!🤣
@@mxengineer1 I know right. Give me that rolling/cornering ability in the corners and 4 stroke everywhere else and I'd be a beast out there lol
