- Arizona Firefighter and cancer survivor, Justin McMurrich, has worked with us at Vital MX on a few builds in the past. This time he has returned with a mint condition 2002 Suzuki RM125 #twostroke project bike. After a bit of much-needed elbow grease and replacing just about every part, the result was a fire-breathing #rm125 ready to rip the hills of Glen Helen.

Met Justin up at cahuilla a few weeks back they had this bike up there what a crisp sounding 125! And Justin couldn’t have possibly been a cooler guy to chat with. Great build!!
My favorite dirtbike that l ever owned was 2001 RM 125.. the bike turns like no other dirtbike.. it's magic 👍

Loved my 02 RM125. That bike took me from 125 C to 250 A at the local track and then I went and bought a 450 and mangled myself the day before I was going to go pro because I way overshot a jump

Damn Ping you still got it, im sure you felt right at home on that suz. Its funny kaw is coming out with a 2 smoke again now everyone is promoting them again and I think all of you guys and yt channels should do all the test you can on 2 smokers just to refresh everyone's memory how much fun they are and maybe honda and suzuki will follow suit.🔥💪💯👍✌️
I own a bike that is just like this rm looks the same but they are way different. Always fun and enjoy riding the rm and kx 125

I believe that might be an 01 rm? You can tell by the swingarm as from 02 the swingarm was tapered! Bike looks and sounds amazing!

I love my '01 RM125, but compared to modern bikes, the front brake and rear shock feel extremely lacking. Haven't been able to dial them in ...
I love mine, I got racetech in it.
@@mx500a4 Enzo did my suspension last go around. Forks were drastically improved but the shock has always felt harsh.
Throw a CRF master cylinder on that thing

Suzuki 2 strokes sound the best. The RC4 factory suzuki 250 is the best sounding bike of all time!!!

Cant agree more, had a 2000 and 2001 rm125 - that 2000 was killer but ugly!! 2001 looked way better! Love these Suzuki's - wished they still made them even if there weren't as competitive in todays world.

nice ! i bought a brand new one . back in the day . rpm did a 134 kit. rg3 suspension! great bike ! i hate . i got rid and or gave it away. my wife called it the million dollar bike.

The 98 was actually the best in my opinion and basically the same as the 99-00 other than the forks but the engine was better in 1998
I loved my 98. probably had 800hrs on that puppy till a house fire stole her
I got a 270mm rotor, steel braided line & rebuilt the master cylinder on my 2005 Cr250r front brake and it still lacks stoping power. Any tips?
use a newer master cyl off a crf

Traded my 01 RM 125 for a new KX 450 in 2006. Never went fast again.😥
