hey Chad i am 75 being doing this type of work for many years you remind me of me doing what you have to with what you have and making it work keep up the great work love your videos
4 things on air conditioner freeze up low charge, dirty coil ,dirty air filter blower not working right. The last 3 has to do with air flow. Also sending some Chevy parts your way soon, waited till the shop was done. Rick black Minnesota
Have same spring compressor and your correct, it hurts my hand compressing as well, handles off think i'll borrow your idea welding on a sockete worked great! try that ris product ring seal works may help enough temporarily... great job as always!
Idea for your shop. My old man had a 50-gallon barrel. filled it with part cleaner and i believe some diesel fuel and man a poor man's parts cleaner. Soaked head and larger parts in it overnight and man did they come out looking great. Just thought I would pass this along. Keep up the good work......
At least there’s someone else out there that gets scraped and dinged up as much as I do when working in the shop. Can’t say I haven’t run my fingers over the the wire wheel a time or three also.😂
I have to pay you a huge compliment. Chad! You are one of the smartest men. I have ever seen on TH-cam who does conversion. So to speak. Or revival's! You did the smart thing when taking the engine off of the start stand so you could put it on the engine stand and what you did was took the mounting bracket, bolted it to the back of the engine, and then you attached the Stan to that mounting bracket and then lowered it to the ground! Most guys always struggle trying to lower the cherry picker down to the height of the stand and then bolting it on that way
When it rains, it pours. Got myself a herniated disc last week. Didn't think I'd also get gastroenteritis a week later, too. 😅 But the sound of that engine made my day so much better. Get yourself some backyard butchery sleep, sir!
Hey Chad I appreciate all the videos, I look forward to watching what's next. You've inspired me to fix up an old 53 Chevy truck I saved from going to the crusher I call it the Deep Woods Chevy, Thanks and keep up the good content.
The fact that that motor ran with a wiped out cam and all that crap in the lifter valley just proves how incredible a small block Chevy is... almost as incredible as a new This N That garage video!
A lot of people in Ky where I'm from, don't like the 283. I bought a complete block at the drag strip for $75 granted it needed a full rebuild. I like'em always did. Sounds great and it's 1 step closer.
She’s going to Run, only because you were willing to put forth a whole lot of Work over countless hours, Fella’s like Me are sure glad you do! I’ll catch you on the next one, Keep it Safe Out There Sir
Hey Chad at least you have those cabinets for your parts, brother! Just takes some time to get situated brother! lol 😂. Take care Chad and get some rest brother! Kir in Louisiana! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great job, I've had my share of all nighters under an oak tree with a come along and a drop light, you just can't stop wrenching till you hear it run. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
You went to the Machine shop guys for advice and help....people call you for advice and help....it's how ya do it. My late father had one flaw in his personality and that was never asking for advice or help. He was a good man and had skills, just couldn't ask for advice and would rather mess something up bad . Your business coupe project is looking like a fun one to follow. ! 👍

Don't give up on your pool just yet, we had one like yours when I was a kid I made a mistake and didn't turn off the pump when selecting the back wash option and damaged the rubber fingers in the selector and the sand needed replacing in the tank, liquid bleach saves money too, enjoying 1:11 video, working at night is a smart option, stay hydrated in this dangerous heat.
Great work and if you don't have enough to do it would be a lovely gift to pass on your knowledge to youngests because I find your work inspiring and you have a very strong work ethic stay lucky.

Can’t wait to see that old Chevy get back to hitting the streets. I wish I had one of my Dad’s old cars - he had a sweet 66 Olds Jetstar 88. Love the tip for lapping valves - used to do it by hand back in the good old days. Good Luck - the engine didn’t sound half bad, no sir not too bad.
Tnt appreciation society London here. Really enjoying the videos Chad. We've been talking about the chevy coupe for a few months after spotting her in the intro. It's great with all the family history. According to the group its up there, but dude is still the favourite. We were down on numbers this week. But we think your like this. We had live link from Portugal & South Africa gmt time 16:00. Holiday season 😅. Keep up the good work Chad with your refreshly honest & entertaining videos. By the way we've hunted high & low for that gear wheel but no sign of it. Take care m8.
Its a runner and even though it has had its troubles you can drop it in the 1940 and it will move it on down the road . Nuf said !! . I admire what you do when you look at all the road blocks you run into getting parts from all over the state. May God Bless you and yours , get some more sleep , and take it easy when you can . I'm praying for you . Stuart in Ontario ..
Those looked like "camel hump" heads. Someone did so.e work to them. They had the studs pinned because it's cheaper. And they had the guide boss cut down to handle a big cam. Nice!
Chad, great work. My wife always says when we watch your channel that you need some gloves when handling the mouse houses. “they started the plague she said” 😂
