Thanks for this video, helped me diagnose my Cherokee's overheating, coolant was near bone-dry, topped it up correctly, took a long test drive and boom: temperature remained low and stable the whole time🙂 🙂
Transmission is considered by Jeep as a "sealed system" that should never need servicing during the life of the vehicle. Servicing is possible, but it's usually quite extensive and expensive. One of those jobs that Jeep considers a "dealer-only" job, and it'll cost you quite a pretty penny. They recommend only doing so if there's major slippage occurring or transmission failure. Just spoke to a tech about it earlier.
@@JosephDalrymple yes unreal for customers service, especially when vehicle maintenance costs every minute of just assment cost thousand or three times depending where you go, for vehicle maintenance, disgusting of Dodge, wouldn't recommend ever again but now days all vehicles are going through something like it aswell cheap to manufacture and export but,Extra Expensive 🫰 to replace an maintenance

Not only that. But the windshield washer fluid. I learned the hard way. DO NOT fill that puppy all the way to the top!! Leave about two inches. Because in the winter, that stuff expands with temputure changes and the plastic container will crack!!
What are you talking about? Transmission is considered a closed system and should never need servicing and the power steering is electric hence no fluid to check

What about the power steering fluid level? Kind of an oversight
This vehicle has electric power steering. There will be no power steering fluid to check.
@@spencersullivan5198 Thank you. I was wondering the same thing and spent 15 minutes looking for it.
@jber9569 I was wondering 🤔 the same thing. Especially since my steer wheel was so tight I couldn't move it... on the highway in morning traffic.
What about transmission fluid ? Also what’s the name of that little fitting between the two coolant hoses right next to the brake fluid reservoir ?
What about transmission level
Thats what I came here for. Didn't get it.
