Richard, you're a national hero mate. You go way beyond to find your customers items. What an amazing service. I'll be telling everyone I know about your service and channel.
I’m assuming that the 38 who have disliked this video are the ones that would rather be stealing or buying it cheap rather than working hard to be able to buy it. Good work Automatrics.
Love how dedicated he is to the cause - beeny hat, rain mack and cold and rain. He’s a gent and defo gives confidence he trusts the product and couldn’t give better service to his clients - I’m a true fan (just need to own something expensive and movable so I can employ autom services!).
Technology these days is amazing, anybody who owns anything of value would be mad not to have one of your trackers fitted. That said you also put the hours in to find the stolen items so hats off to you. Keep up the good work and keep your videos coming! 🚜🚜🚜
Brilliant recovery lads! The theft must have been the handiwork of those rare Scottish travelers. The lilt and burr of the police dispatcher was most pleasing. It reminds me fondly of my many years sailing in and out of the River Clyde ports.
If you ever need a drone pilot I’d love to do this! Thanks for an excellent video as always! Well done for the hard driving and determination - that’s what makes a good product when you have the back up when you need it!
You would probably greatly benefit from a RF Doppler Direction Finder. Ramsey Electronics in Victor, NewYork in the USA had a model they sold for years but sadly enough due to legalities they stopped their electronic kit production. It seems there are other companies that specialize in that sort of thing.I do believe the schematics are online to produce the same model as well as it was originally designed and shared by a ham radio operator. I hope this helps you in tracking things down more precisely. Excellent system though guys!!! Cheers from New York USA.
I'd love to do something like this. The adrenaline, detective work and the travelling. I love driving and if I'm doing something good, that's a big bonus.
Just stumbled across this channel! Amazing service you provide! You need a 4x4 like a defender or a wrangler when you go scouting for these stolen industrial machinery, Youre going to kill that beautiful RS on those unsealed roads. Again keep up the good work, wish you were based in Australia. Would use your services in a heartbeat
great videos! I'd say having a more central base like Birmingham would make your displacements easier. Hope you expand your business to Europe, you seem a great company to work for!
AutomatricsMTrack => If you use a tablet with GPS and LTE, you can show the GPS-Position of you and the equipment on a google map. This will make it more easy to navigate. Nice job!
Another successful job. Having lots of data to hand numbed the pain of driving 300 miles up the M6. It was a sensible move on that previous job to fly to Glasgow and hire a car but this time it was different.
After watching a couple of these videos I can only say that I'm extremely impressed! This seems the most secure way to get your goods back once they've been stolen. What I don't get is, if the goods are insured, what benefit is it to the owner to actually get them back?
Insurance companies don't just keep giving out money for replacement equipment. They can find reasons to not pay out. The amount payed out may be inadequate. The annual cost of future cover can increase significantly or be refused. Probably it is a condition of the policy that a Tracker is installed.
Having watched a few of these vids now, it's clear that being based in So'ton, you have some really long days. Ever thought that relocating to the midlands might be easier?
This is really great, I'd love to help out. Would be willing to drive by and look in my area if you ever need anyone. I bet it is really rewarding work, I'd love to do it.
you sure picked a nice evening for it. you earned your pay that eve!!! I hope you didnt drive the 300miles back that night? that hotel looked good...... great report thanks for sharing
Why didn't she you sent you the GPS coordinate to the entry point to that field? Then you can type that in to your sat-nav . Sorted. Entry point GPS: 55.1677, -2.8222
If you use a tablet with a mobile data plan as your navigation device, you can text the coordinates straight to the tablet... Then it's just a matter of cut/paste into your nav software - highly suggest having offline nav software in addition to Google maps....
Offline nav software lol. Also known as a paper map and some proper navigational skills. All well and good when technology is around to wipe your arse but when it goes down it helps to have a backup.
In America we call that dumper a Georgia buggy, why, l don't know. Mostly see them on big construction sites. Usually used in hauling concrete, on multi story buildings, where access is restricted. Can you use this technology to track anything, as long as the battery is hooked up, or can you track if there is no battery ?
you should end your video's by telling us who was apprehended and what if any convictions and sentences ensued. That may deter wanna be's and let your possible future clients have more faith in your services and the consequences for those who abuse their property.
The technology to prevent this has existed for hundreds of years but our idiotic legal system contrived a way to prevent its use. It's very simple technology but effective. It works by making the would-be thieves question the economic of carrying out the theft in the first place and usually results in then giving it up. After being caught once there is a very high chance they won't do it again. It's called a 'birch rod' and is administered in public to the buttocks of offenders. They basically get a right good hiding which is extremely painful but worse is the fact that anyone can watch them being totally humiliated!
I was trying to figure out what your car was, until I heard you say it's a Focus. Pretty sporty one, though, an ST or RS? Recaro seats etc, and it sounds pretty throaty.
What do you mean by: "We've got the unit in alarm". I take it this is another mode for the tracker to be in? Does it send out more regular communications then?
so since it was on a property that obviously someone has to own. do they get charged or get at least investigated?? or does it just get blown off since the item was found??? if so wouldn't u think that's why the the theft rate on anything is so high??? its on that property??? They have to know something......
Construction machinery is very expensive, so if under utilised can be a costly and inefficient ownership, so many construction companies will just hire the machinery to cover the work time its needed for from thousands of UK Plant Hire companies who hire the plant machinery. So plant means construction equipment,👍
Noted thanks for your comment . We did have a few options on this one. Generally it depends on the situation, we had to get it to connect first, then try to achieve a GPS fix. We got the GPS so we could have at that point sent the police to that location. But we to consider that it may have been hidden from police view, say in the back of a van or inside a building. Then If the police turned up and couldn't find it that would spook the bandits to risk a failed operation. Better to cover all the options and manage this direct to ensure the best possible result for our client.
Yes it does. Over here in the colonies it would be called a "Pot Pie". It would never be served with "french fries" though. I'd go for the bangers and mashed if I were in Scotland.
I've watched a few of these videos now and came to the conclusion that Richard often oversteps his bounds with the Police, telling them how to do their job. Today it's sarcasm and talking down to the police despatcher, with a "Well done, well done!" because she managed to find a cemetery on a map, followed by the implication that border police time can only be occupied with poaching and sheep rustling! Such a respectful, funny, funny guy. Now THAT was sarcasm.
I love that thieves aren’t totally getting away with everything, it would be fab to hear about any arrests as well.

Excellent Recovery and video. There's something satisfying about watching people's high value property being found safe.
Anyone else binge watching these? Always good work seeing the bad guys get stuff taken back off them. Well in.

I absolutely fell in love with the Scottish girl's voice! What a charmer! I have got to visit Scotland sometime!

We have had a few Irish travellers in our village recently. Though we thought they had moved on. Apparently not
Were u the guy that bought drugs in?
Come to sunny Scotland. Reminds why I now live in Australia. Great job you have. Well done.

Interesting stuff and only 20 miles away from me , the area is so isolated up there done well finding it in the dark, RF tracker sorted that tho .
Pitch dark, the original footage was virtually impossible to see before we applied some editing lighting effects !
These videos are great 👍
Thanks for watching 👍

Someone who steals vehicles with trackers in them won't be deterred by anyting
this is a high risk / high reward situation.
They know at some point they will go to prison for some time.
I don't think they ever arrest anyone as far as I can see. They just take it back. Sad.
What is the music you are using in the videos? I find myself watching over and over just to hear that.
