Automatrics Triple Stolen Vehicle Recovery Challenge - 29 July 2019

- After a relatively quiet July, Automatrics were contacted on the 29th July 2019 by three separate customers all advising that they had a vehicle stolen. The first customer reported a stolen Case International tractor, the second a stolen Honda Fireblade motorcycle and the third a stolen 3 Ton Dumper.
Alarm messages were sent to all three security tracking devices and the stolen tractor Automatrics MTrack was the first unit to come into alarm, that was reporting a cell search site in the Bolton area. As this tractor was installed with an older GSM and RF location only recovery tracking device Automatrics dispatched a radio signal finder to Bolton, whilst other staff tried to connect to the two other stolen vehicles.
Follow Automatrics on his somewhat busier than normal radio finding day to see if they can complete a successful triple stolen vehicle recovery operation.

You should always carry a cordless grinder with a cutting blade, just in case the police don't have one.
@@hodaka1000 I was going to say, banging on that lock with the breaker was a rather crude method of doing this.

That yard where the tractor was looked shady as hell too. Remember, we don’t really have any sort of “protection” here either. Which I’m ok with. But that’s another story. These guys do a great job.

For you you're probably just "doing your job" but for me you are a hero. I've only found your channel today but I've seen a lot of your videos. In more cases do you not only find the stolen vehicle, but also other stolen vehicles/stolen goods in the process. Very good job! 👌

Obviously been in your position u can understand how far law inforcement resources are stretched I'm only a couch spud but from all the cop shows iv watched can only wounder how they get to any jobs in the same day let alone a couple hours like it ain't lazyness obviously
Hope the officers forced entry to the other 'Vacant' garages that weren't supposed to be locked.
Probably used as more bandit stash houses.
Can almost guarantee it.
That would be breaking and entering, so yeah they probably did.
@@deeej No it wouldn't, because the council owns the garages and they're supposed to be empty. They aren't rented out and so if the council say they can smash the locks of to gain entry, then they're entitled to do so.
@@jsl4228 Correct - Council said remove the locks with least damage possible, hence that's why police just tried to break the lock off relatively gently gently and not smash the door in. 👍😜👍
@@deeej No - it wouldn't. They can show cause. So in a situation where they go to court, they would be in the pink.

It amazes me how belligerent the police are when you have guaranteed information of a crime, but they don't bother their arses to get to your location with more haste.

I definitely don't want customers to have to use Automatrics. But post more videos sooner. As allowed by law. That's something the original poster probably hadn't thought about. That some of Automatrics footage could and probably is used in court cases. Therefore they have to wait until said court cases have run their course. After all the customer is the main reason for the videos in the first place. At the end of the day everyone in the world wants justice for the ills brought to or handed to them.
They've explained in a couple of videos ago why they haven't uploaded for a while, obviously you've not watched EVERY video.

Criminals/thieves are a world wide problem and true to form they are for the most part stupid, dumb, unintelligent, under educated and daft especially when they steal items with GPS/ radio trackers on them...! Good finds, keep them coming!

In my opinion your comment makes u just as 'daft' as the thieves u r calling. I don't think they know if a vehicle is fitted with a GPS/tracker device upon stealing it? And if they did know 4 sure it was fitted with 1 it wouldn't stop them from taking it would it? U could say vehicle owner is daft 4 spending money on a device that ain't gonna stop it being stolen,despite them thinking it's a deterrent 2 potential thieves? Some people r so desperate they will steal it knowing it's alarmed and fitted with a tracker. It's like shops putting 'security' tags on high value items thinking it will stop shoplifting? It won't,if anything it makes said items more desirable 2 steal,makes thieves more determined 2 leave the store with it? Makes item more of a target? Burglar alarms,cameras etc don't guarantee that your house/business won't be broken in2 now do they?
"Hello, police, I had my car stolen last night but it has a tracker on it", "who's this?", "nobody important". "ok, here's an incident number for your insurance, we've got too many people on twitter to check their thinking this week"

Might be worth getting a little boroscope to get a look inside these hideaways, might help reduce guesswork which unit/garage the asset is in without causing any damage.

Yes a couple of videos if I remember right the thieves were loitering around but weren't sure if they were plain clothes police and did not stop the recovery.

I really enjoy seeing people's stolen property get recovered. It's bad enough to steal someones personal property but stealing a person's equipment they use for their livelihood is a truly odious act that deserves swift and sure justice.

Thanks Paul, significantly longer than expected, but at least the police made the right decisions when they did finally turn up. Unlike a real major police fail to be uploaded soon.
