Nice that you're showing the registration plates of other vehicles in the yard just incase someone has had a vehicle stolen that hasn't been found yet.
Why the hell didn't the police run those plates to begin with? I consistently find the 'lack of enthusiasm' of the police to be a bit disconcerting in your videos. Are they threatened by this technology?
I don't think they would be respraying stolen cars those are usually broken up into bits and shipped off abroad, stolen to commit further crime or just stolen to joyride to show off on social media. The police officers should have run all the vin numbers through to see if they were nicked.
All of the vehicles show between 11:27 and 11:50 have No tax and No MOT with the exception of the smashed BMW which is taxed until 01/07/19 but has no MOT.

Honestly, with most late model VIN's visible through the windscreen and smart phones, Just one of the many cops in attendance could have done the lot in a few minutes which was far less than it took for the bloke with the keys to arrive.
I was sooo hoping the police were gonna say "Stolen vehicle? We don't have time for that mate!" and then Mick and the Gang were going to show up with some bolt cutters, torches and a shovel to bury the bodies :)

That was one dodgy shithouse body shop and exactly the sort of place cheap paint jobs are going on , I bet most are for known customers but a bit of illegal work never hurt nobody ... That type of shitty scruffy gaff

@Ganz Bestimmt White isn't unique. I've seen construction equipment in that colour. If they wanted to make it unique they would use a colour like Light blue, red or purple. Now those colours would stand out and force a respray.

These videos are really interesting - its scary how some of the vehicles codes can be cloned so they just drive off with them, but also reassuring the trackers are very difficult to locate on the vehicle.
You have an amazing job- it must be so satisfying to be able to outwit the crooks and return stuff to its rightful owners. If Automatrics needs a Lincs finder I’m your man!

Sorry that's not really the case. We have 3 more theft recovery videos to be uploaded soon. Also we have made theft recoveries operations recently with police only, without need for us to dispatch a radio signal finder.

Not surprised you've being very busy judging by how bad car crime & crime in general has gotten all over the UK,Thanks to companies such as yourselves, the thieves out there aren't getting away with it so easily. As somebody else pointed out in the comments i wonder why the Police wasn't checking the VIN's of those cars / vans in the yard to make sure there wasn't any other stolen property being stored there. i want to add to my previous comments about some things....those high end cars and expensive shop ag equipment it should be a option to sit and wait for the crooks to return they are wanted already most likely .....some solid caught in the act vids helps the courts immensely, which ought to be proper for an approved tracking company to pull off.
I mean maybe i've been watching too many tv shows but couldn't they just call the guy the next day and say the respray work is done, pretty sure he'd show. easy?
@@ChrisX431 1 this could be considered entrapment , i do not know about UK law much except that their pretty strict. and 2 most shop owners can not pull this off without blowing it and 3 nothing beats actual persons picking up said things on camera which means the owner would have had to go along with the respray so the police could put the mitts on them after they take possession of it on video.
im not trying to offend anyone but lots of stolen stuff ends up on traveller sites but police are to scared to go in cause the will cause a riot, a large operation was taken out in south wales and so much stolen stuff were in the sites
@@bbb8775 travellers usually flog stuff as soon as they've nicked it. Sometimes they'll grab something from your own neighbour, sell it to you and drive off. I've seen them steal laptops off people in town centre who just bought them, then they walk around to find customers to resell to.
Surprised that the Police allowed the roller to be taken back. Here in the States, once it was confirmed that it was the stolen item, they would take a ton of pics, they might even hold the roller as evidence, then call the shop owner to come out, then arrest the shop owner. Meanwhile a team would come out and verify if any of the vehicles are listed stolen. But, I’m glad to see the roller returned.

Another great recovery, I hope they collared those that stole it, and the business at which was found was extremely careless in not questioning the “owner” - should be done for handling stolen goods.
Great video as always & pleased you got back to the client the machinery. That place looks SO dodgy - makes you wonder what else is nicked within !!!!!! Only question- if no one turns up to open / unlock the gates - do you or the police have a right to force entry to obtain stolen goods?
Thanks for watching 👍 there are a few options available dependant on the experience and attitude of the attending officers. There may be some officers that wait for a warrant. But normally the radio location is sufficient evidence to allow a forced entry if we 100% confirm to officers.
They may have the devices but it will mean nothing without the likes of this company who have the expertise and commitment in finding and recovering the stolen property.

Have you considered making a two antenna interferometer? I think that might allow you to pinpoint things much more accurately, by using the time difference that signals arrive at the two antennas.

11-8 is now 11-8+8 (12-4) and still not disappointing. They raised the bridge 8" not to long ago but it's life as a can opener hasn't ended yet.
The shop had to suspect the roller was stolen. Repainting a roller that doesn’t need it should be a red flag.
