isn't it funny how the iPhone, htc, and even LG 5 all have speakers at the bottom, but for some reason, only Samsung gets criticized for having a bottom speaker that "can easily be covered with your finger" man, the bias reviews of people on Samsung is mind blowing
they're mad Cuzco they can't use Samsung pay on their favorite phone

I turn my phone side ways all the time. the only way you're gonna cover the speaker is if you're trying to. that's just nitpicking BS. plus, who the hell listens to music without headphones ? 7 out of 10 people are listening to music through their headphones these days so this is just the same ol same ol, finding anything to pick at when it comes to Samsung
+Dee Sean tbh I don't understand why it was mentioned as a flaw in this video. I use my phone all the time to watch TH-cam videos and Netflix and I still get "immersed". Just because the speakers are at the bottom doesn't make it a bad phone and that shouldn't be a reason not to but it. If people are going to be nit picky about little stuff like that I want to see them build the perfect phone.
Htc,nexus,moto and alcatel have dual speakers on the button so when you hold phone you don't cover speakers because they are not single speaker on the side. I must say that iphone and samsung made worst speakers for the phone because sound quality is horrible. For me best sounding phone is HTC m8 even today. M8 speaker is loud,crisp and has a 3d sound
+Dee Sean Nigga you stupid? I have an s7, you right nobody covers it accidently, but people use the speaker all the time. I use it in the kitchen, while using the phone, everytime it's not handy to use a Bluetooth speaker but headphones suck.

I know right!. When the TH-camr is talking about scratches, dents and fingerprints and a shot of the phone with a skin comes on, i sit and wait for the D brand advert that's coming my way, then cringe.
Problem is the D brand he has on that s7 doesnt fit look at top right of his phone the D-brand has 3 cut out holes when the S7 only has 2 holes lol

I feel the same way and it's f*cking annoying. It also doesn't help that I don't care about dbrand skins or any other skins in general. The phone looks good as it is! We asked for metal and glass premium build and we got it! Designers spent a good deal of time and money designing these things then comes the expected "I just put a dbrand skin on it and called it a day" LOL.. So overrated and tiring. If you check their site (which i stumbled upon by ads), they even have an "MKBHD edition" for f*ck's sake.

I have a Samsung S7 and I love touchwiz. I have no scratches on my phone, and the speakers are just fine.
I upgraded from the S4. I love the speakers on the S7.
+VinnyHaw me too I don't see the problem with speakers on the s7. Idk why reviewers always shame the speakers.
I may not use them the same way others do.
The only time I don't have headphones in are when I'm driving (my stereo just died, so I use my phone for audio), since they're loud as hell. I also use the speakers in the shower. In that case I have to turn my phone down so that I don't annoy my roommates.
Maybe it's just "cool" to downplay the speakers?

there's no way to hold it sideways with both hands and not block the speaker...
Speakers isn't that loud because it's water resistant. :)

I've followed you a long time, so it's a bit painful that I disagree with you so much in this video: 1) Touchwiz. It's because of Touchwiz that I'm allowed to have a Dark Material system theme....something I can't get with stock Android. Plus I've had the ability to work with 2 apps on screen at the same time for a long time...again, because of Touchwiz. 2) The fact that Touchwiz does not automatically put apps in alphabetical order is not a drawback....it is a feature. It's the main thing that keeps me from using Nova Launcher. If I download several apps, I like being able to go to the end of the drawer to remind me of what I downloaded, rather than having to go through all of the apps (as in Nova) to try to remember what their names were. When I'm ready to alphabetize, I can click the a-z button. Or I can auto arrange them in any order that I want. 3) It seems a bit disingenuous to complain about the fingerprints on the back of your phone if you always have a skin on it anyway. That means that for you, as with almost every other single person, it's not really a problem at all. 4) I think the speaker problem has been greatly overstated by nearly every reviewer. My S7 Edge's speaker is as loud as the one on my Pixel C tablet. Having said all that,, I still enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much for enjoying my videos, of course it's really all opinion here. Like I said in the video, I don't really enjoy TouchWiz and a few of you would disagree with me on that point so it honestly just comes down to opinion on both 1 and 2 of your comment. For 3, yes fingerprints is a huge problem which is why I put a skin on the back of the GS7, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. 4. Speaker is bad, comes from one side of the phone, it's not facing your direction when listening to anything on your phone making for a poor experience when compared to other devices with front facing speakers, and I often cover the speaker with the palm of my hand or my finger when watching videos on accident. Either way, these are just my opinions, hopefully you can see my side of the story as well. :)

1. You can get dark themes with stock and woopee, you can split screen on a 5.5" display! How productive.
2. The majority of us aren't so autistic we can't keep track of what we downloaded a minute ago
3. He bought a skin to prevent finger prints and scratches. After paying $200-$1000 for the device he still had to spend more money to fix problems with it, this is a concern about shitty craftsmanship and completely valid.
4. The speaker is horse shit, that's all there is to it. If you aren't listening to music on your phone through headphones or some other external speaker you're being willfully ignorant about sound quality.

Why does it suck though? I've gone through several Galaxy phones over the years, all with Touchwiz, and I have never seen a problem with it. Maybe I don't know the features other launchers provide?
All of these are the stupidest nit pickiest reasons to be honest. Most of them are all subjective reasons as well, maybe except for the speaker part.
The speaker is the only bother. But it still sounds good! I just dont like placement.

Cool, lets put it this way, he over stated the flaws and under stated the perks. its flaws can be adjusted to your preference, like the glass back, you can buy a cover, the predictive text you can switch off, the touchwiz, you can change to google, or CM launcher, the speaker, you can use headphones...and so on.
I have this phone and it is amazing, only thing that it lacks is an S Pen.
Question about always on display. can you see the specific messages you have, from say wht's app, fb messenger, ect....in that mode? Or do you have to turn on the phone to see that. Apparently it's an annoyance that isn't there on say, the Nexus 6p

I disagree. The iPhones in general have always lacked the hardware that android has, but they always win in speed and ram tests. For instance, the S7 has what? 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The iPhone 6S has 2 GB yet still demolishes it in almost every test. The reason is because iOS is the same across all current phones, tablets, and ipods. so they can focus on making it as efficient as possible, where android has so many versions all running on different devices they can't focus on giving it its full potential.

I got my S7 3 days ago, my daily driver was a Note 4 and as a backup i had an OPO. Wow, i was thinking of getting the 6P, OPT or the S7, and it was the best phone i could get, by any means i am saying that the S7 is better than the other two, each phone has it's own perks. What i mean is, this phone has all that i want, touchwiz feels way better, battery life is great, and that camera...(awesome), feels great in the hand, i already made a water test. Quite happy with this phone, finally samsung did a great job. (This is only my opinion)

Nelly Shu depends on what you want nelly. As a headphone/vr fan i reluctantly switched to the s7 this generation for those features. However i personally much prefer ios and the depth/safety of the apple store. Also had a 6+ for 2 years with no problems.
Can pretty much guarantee any android will start to develop problems after a few months.

We get it. it's your opinion. Just don't say it like we must hate Touchwiz. I don't like how I can't put Apps into folders *cough* stock android *cough cough* as I like to organised. A-Z is takes longer for me to look.
Even though the LED light doesn't turn off during "Do not disturb" I don't think it's going to disturb your sleep to put it face down (totally stupid opinion). I have more criticism about this video, especially where you say you've used touchwiz "for a long time" but then you seem to have only use stock android ie the app drawer icon placement.. Isn't that a bit redundant?

I am planning on getting S7. But I am only worried about scratches. I am planning on getting a case for it, but what about the screen? Will I need to put a screen protecter on it?
I used to think stock android was the best. Then I got a phone running stock lollipop. Not having options is not fun, can't even change the bottom home buttons.
no SD card slot, can't change out battery (if you need a new battery). I have an LG, and I never have to put my phone down to charge because I just change the battery, I like it like that.
But I will say playing games on stock android is way better than other phones I have with the same amount of RAM. it's much smoother for games.

I'm having a problem when making a call and using my speakerphone that the party on the other end is saying I'm breaking up and it's dropping words. This happened with everyone I talked to so I searched online and found several other complaints about this on android central from back through March to current. Is this a known problem and is there a fix for it or a setting? I took it back to Best Buy and the Samsung people just refreshed the sw. Not sure it's any better.

biggest con would be AUDIO QUALITY. It is terrible, both speaker and headphone jack. i am selling this for a HTC 10 as I am a huge music listener.

The iPhone is way better then the galaxy s4 androids suck. Their battery life drains really quick. My iPhone 6s Plus is a better choose. The battery life lasts way longer.

It's a real Galaxy S7, idiot... It's just how they sell it in America. You can see the AT&T logo on the back, and they also stamp the model on it, for some stupid reason. They've always done it. Google it and you'll see it's true.

Bluetooth has trouble detecting devices, WiFi times out constantly it says it's connected but everything stops loading content like Facebook and youtube I have to disconnect from WiFi and reconnect this happens even 5 feet from the modem.
