Ron Nicklas, exactly. The only time i would see myself using it over a standard charger is if i was in a vehicle with wireless charging and forgot my cable. However, i don't have a vehicle with wireless charging, so i'm just glad i don't have to pay for a feature i wont ever use.
I'm on the s9+, but I miss my oneplus 3t sooo bad, it's broken in a drawer somewhere, I'm considering selling them both and getting the oneplus 6!
Trust me S9+ is better because I have both the phones.

PHUOC NGUYEN well here's my thing... I don't like it because I can't pick it up and still have it charging. Where as with a cable you can pick it up and still have it charging.
jairtzinio hmm, yes that is the big problem too, in the close future, I think they will invent some kind of wireless charger that u plug into the centre of the room and all of your devices will be charged, it would be great ! If they have that kind of technology

Yes, there are works on WiFi signal charging. Haven't read about it for a while so can't say how well it've gone.

the speakers sucked earlier but new update has improved them quite a bit
camera is decent infact amazing for the price
it gets the job done

and oxygen os is fluid and fast

Well that how good the phone is...there is almost nothing to complain about and that's why I m buying it
i would say 90% of people who buy luxury phones dont use them to anywhere their maximum capability. you're dropping hundreds of dollars just to have smooth animations and to be able to forget to close apps you're not using.

They added that same face unlock to Oneplus 3 aswell. Super accurate, maybe annoyingly so that i cant check my clock without opening it :D
Jin- there's an option to only have face lock when you swipe up on your lock screen, go to settings and face unlock
I have always used iphone, (always used the version that up to ios 9 I think) so will it be hard to change to oxygen?

Just got my 1+6 in the mail today and playing around with the phone for over a hour or so and so far love it. Yes it has some flaws but I already knew that going into buying the phone.
I will be switching to the Nova launcher in a few days and going for the pixel theme other than that this is a great phone.....
lamar frazier hey I wanna try out that kind of theme as well, can you tell me how you're going to make it have a pixel them within nova? Like are you downloading pixel app icons, or are you just tweaking the nova settings to act like a pixel? Thanks!!
TesterChannel I'm downloading the pixel icons and everything. In fact the guy that did this review has a step by step on how to do it. You have to go to his TH-cam page and go back a couple of months and it's on there.

How's the audio output through the headphone jack on the OP6? I've heard a lot of negative reviews about it, even though the company claims to have worked with DIRAC to tweak its audio output through the 3.5 mm jack and the speakers.

Yeah, and seriously... "If you decide to get the mirror black, make sure to pick up a dbrand skin!" Like why the fuck would I pick up the mirror black just so I can cover it with a skin? If I want a skin anyways, it doesn't matter if it's the mirror black version or not.
Getting the mirror black version and knowing that it's going to bother you because it's a slippery fingerprint magnet and then covering it with a skin because of that is just stupid.
I hate these dbrand sponsored videos, they are almost on every tech channel nowadays.
Matte black is slippery as fuck too - you will have to get a skin/case under any circumstance, no matter which colour you choose.

Memo doesn't go below 20ms on keyboards that's why it feels very brash. I'm used to the tactile feeling motor on the s7 edge and pretty much every flagship phone after 2015.

Hey Android Police, I just got a Oneplus 6 and ever since I did my update IG videos would start off clear but then go blurry after 2secs into it. Have you experienced this at all or have you heard any similar complaints? Do you know any possible solutions for this at all? I've tried reaching out in the Oneplus community app but pple keep annoyingly saying it's my internet connection but I don't think that's the case. I would love your opinion on this please!
why they insist that OnePlus include expandable memory, if versions of 64,128 and 256Gb come, from 128Gb are more than enough, do not believe it? Waterproof, Am I in a pool at all times? Never! They ask for a stereo speaker, I don't usually listen to my music without headphones and without U we will attend it well, connect it to a sound system and upload all the volume that you want, don't you think? 🤷🏻♂️
Lol I kinda agree with u on everything except for the stereo speakers. I think it's an important feature, for example, you wanna show ur friends a video, usually u don't have Bluetooth speakers with u. Anyway it's not a feature that would let me pay 300$ extra to get an s9+
They just updated sound quality on the 1+6 a few days ago, and it's louder and crisper now. Definitely sounds much better than when I bought it 2 weeks ago, but I agree with you. If I wanna listen to music, I use earphones. If I'm watching Google, audio isn't the most important thing on Earth. The speaker is more than good enough for watching Pewdiepie do stupid stuff.
Basically the minuses arent real minuses at all if you know how you will use the phone. The only true one might be the camera. There are better ones out there or better thought out ones.
Alfredo Durán people ask for features like wireless charging ip certification.....because other f lagships have them n one plus 6 claims to be the flagship killer so why the he'll not ....but for the price given its too much to ask

I agreed with the point you mentioned, they sud have added the feature to increase the row/icon no from the launcher setting, also for the blue dot, i have faced another issue, if you install a new app & open it from the play store, later when you open the app drawer, you can see the blue dot, which supposes to be gone. :)
After a teardown by Jerryrigeverything it was shown to have everything needed for IP67 certification but OnePlus says to have it certified would have added $30.00 to the price (margins are slim).
What about OTA updates? Any thoughts?

If you want the Google feed instead of the widgets and recently used apps and contacts... have you tried adding to "Feed" widget from the Google app to the Shelf? Expand the widget card as far as possible then move it all the way to the top of the Shelf.

I'm definitely digging this new 6 (8G RAM/128GB) model having upgraded from Moto X 2014. I like many of the features and that "annoying" blue button is exactly what I had wished for to see which apps I don't actually use. I need to learn how to use the camera - too many settings for me, but it should be good once I get the hang of it.

I got the OnePlus 6 and the galaxy s9 plus. The oneplus 6 on oxygen 5.1.7 scores 289000 on antutu. The s9 plus scores 265000 but still kills the OnePlus 6 on quality. But the OnePlus 6 is so much more fun to use. Also u can unlock the bootloader and root it right out of the box
