Easy Crochet Cat Bed Tutorial - Make in Under an Hour

- Shortly after we brought our cats home, I made them each a crocheted cat bed. It was such a simple project and I've been wanting to share it here for a while, but the yarn I used was discontinued! I have been searching for the right yarn ever since and I finally found one! Here is a tutorial showing how to crochet a bed for a cat or small dog in under an hour!
This is a great project for beginners, too.
For this tutorial, I used Bernat Big Blanket yarn in Vintage -

Sorry about that. I thought you could see the most important parts. What was off the screen was when I was just repeating the same stitch and turning the bed. It was a little awkward and large to film!
Me too. I wouldn't call it a tutorial for that reason. It must be for those who already know how to crochet and know all the terminology, so it's a new project for experienced users. We don't need to watch your ball of yarn while your hands get busy offscreen without describing in slower specific detail what you are doing, which loops you are grabbing from the starting circle and why, how tight/loose/etc... Very confusing to me at the critical beginning of the project, so i'll put down my attempt and rewatched the whole video without trying to do while watching. We'll see how that goes...

Sorry about that! When I'm off the screen, I'm just repeating the same stitch and turning the bed. I'll do better on that next time.

I threw mine in the washer and let it air dry and it cleaned up nicely.

If you wait until 9:00 in she shows what you were supposed to start at 6:00. That helped me!
How many yards or skeins do I need to get
I used two.
I was doing good until I realized I needed bigger yarn :)

Tried following along but you definitely went a little quick and your hands were cut off in a lot of places so I couldn’t really see what you were doing :/
