    I can't wait to try this. I have made so many "baby" blankets using three or four yarn strands simultaneously, and my babies (cats) absolutely love them. I've rescued three street cats now, and the two feral cats each somehow found and claimed one of those blankets almost instantly upon being brought / allowed inside.

    The bottom of mine was a really bad potato chip. Starting with row 4, I did 2 rows of growing increases and 1 of SC until I got to the edge. It ended very nice and flat. For the transition to the wall, I SC'd into the front loops to give a more square transition. Thank you for the tutorial!

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. You cold stuff sides and sew. I used red heart yarn and it was pretty stiff.

  • @tracywood1991
    @tracywood1991 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Mine is turning out way too wavy! I tore it apart and I’m now only doing one sc and every few stitches I’ll randomly do two sc- never more than 2 sc. It’s very flat and getting bigger with every round. There’s no way you could keep adding all those stitches and keep the bottom flat. Other than this quirk, I’m loving this project.

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe we are not using the same yarn or the stitches are not the same tightness. I hope you can tweek and get to work out.

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, so at the beginning of a new row do the stitches slowly increase by one in each stitch. Then after each increase you put 2 stitches in one whole then the increased number and 2 stitches?

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, each time you put two stitches in one opening you are increasing. When you put one in between you are keeping the project flat. Once you put a single crochet in each stitch it will start to curve up.
      I hope this helps.

    How many rows did you make the sides?

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I did 18-20. I actually just washed my three beds, I put old socks around sides and sewed it by hand with yarn shut. It made the sides so much more sturdy. You can make your sides as many rows as you would like. Hope your project comes out with your love and expression. Have a great day.
