Today's "16" is not the same size as a 16 from years ago. Clothing manufacturers have explained this if kts making sense to anyone. However a 16 at 5'2" is not exactly average. Society has convinced women that 5 foot 4 185lbs "aint big". This is truly out of hand. Ma'am you are 60lbs overweight. I am 6 feet and weigh 170 lbs. Which is average. The delusion is next level.
Its kind of different with men, I am 5´6" and flat out 200#. But I have that ammount of muscle I look broader than taller. I have never had a sixpack in my life, but I still dont have fatbelly. It would be difficult to hang that ammount of meat or anything on a even shorter woman and maintain any kind of figure. She should weight 120# at that height, dress size 4.

Im in very good shape but I understand it takes a ton of time and effort into getting in good shape and not everyone has the passion for fitness. So I (and I think most men) don't really care if a girl is 10-15lbs overweight. If she was 130-140lbs, that's at least smaller than me and something we could work with. But 60lbs? Hellll nah.

@Eastern fence Lizard that's not a good answer cos you can have a family without getting married. Marriage is strictly emotional unless you're doing it for religious reasons. There is no logical reason to get married which is why you won't be able to find a good answer on why someone should get married. You can't make sense out of non sense. There is no good reason to get married. Some men do it to please their partner but if you're going to make such a big life decision, it should be something that will please you too.
