Maybe you don't, but I do. I don't get it? Spend tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle and then worry about spending a bit more on premium lubricants to keep these modern high tech machines running top notch!
@@oneninerniner3427 but my vehicles are all older (2007, 09, 11). They are running fine with standard synthetic oil. Don't see the purpose in paying high dollar Amsoil
Absolutely not in my opinion. If you live in the north and drive your car in the winter the engine will outlast the body of the vehicle running the cheapest oil and filter combo you can find. I have had cars make it to 200,000 miles on walmart supertech oil and filters, sold the car to a friend when the body was shot, they pulled the engine and ran it another 100,000 miles in something else. My current vehicle a 2023 tahoe just had 8 quarts of NAPA oil dumped in I found on sale and I suspect it will work just fine.
What is not mentioned is the AMSOIL and other Group4 oils are made from natural gas. The negative side of this is that there are no natual lubricants so special lubricating additives have to be put in. The Group 3 mineral base oils though highly refined still have some lubrication properties in them like Paraffin. As for "quality"....the Viscosity Index of Group 3 oils are pretty much the same as the Group 4s. So the quastion is "Just how much value are you getting for your $? Just because you are paying 2 - 3 times more for a brand oil does not mean you can go 2 - 3 times longer between oil changes.....as mentioned in the video: "YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MANUFACTUERS RECOMMENDATIONS!"
No, pretty certain GTLs are group 3 synthetics. And to say there is no natural lubrication value in group IV PAO base oils is nonsense, they are excellent lubricants. Also you sure as heck can go longer drain intervals with AMSOIL's premium lubricants. Its been tested tried and proven time & time again.
GTL (gas to liquid) natural gas. Viscosity index depends a lot on SAE rating like if it's a 0W20 or 5w30, 10W40 etc. etc. The viscosity needs to fall within a certain range to be like a 5W30 for instance
@@oneninerniner3427 PAOs are made from natural gas, what lubricating components are in gas? Longgivity depends on many factors. Most Group 3 oils will lubricate a long time. The problem is DIRT! Oils get dirty and has too be changes as not to clog up oil chanels and piston rings.
Are they now? GTLs are group III petroleum base. Group IV PAOs are made from ethylene. Now, can you make ethylene from GTLs? idk. Group IIIs are better than I&II for sure. But PAOs are far superior.
PAOs are chemically built. Group III are refined. Check out "lubrication explained" here on YT. They have some excellent vids that really get into the science of lubricants.
I saw no difference in the quality of used oild after 5k interval, on both of my lexuses. In one I was putting amsoil for 3 months, in another one I was pouring oil from Costco. After 5k both looked identical in color, viscosity, smell )) The 7k-10k miles advised amsoil change intervals are a gimmick. If you want to keep your car for longer than 5 years, change oil every 5k and you will be good with any full synthetic you can buy from the store.
Amsoil signature series is the best
Irs signature tbh

Amsoil Signature Series user here for 18 plus years now. I haven't looked back since. Proud customer.
no doubt you are right
I believe you meant to say just Ams. user. Sig. Series has NOT been around for 18 years.
P.S. I swear by it too for 6 going on 7 years now!
Incredible oil. The AI on this video is ridiculous though.
I have another channel based on health with my own voice, but i think no one likes my accent ... th-cam.com/video/s5r1RLDKXWw/w-d-xo.html
The AI has a pretty funny accent. No big deal. 😅
what is the best amsoil or motul 300v?
Both are negotiable
whats better for e60 v10 m5 amsoil or liqui moly??? and if amsoil which one signature 10-60 of they have? or the euro??
PENNZOIL ( ULTRA ) PLATINUM CHANGE BEFORE 5000 MILES ! BUT AMSOIL IS THE BEST !

amazing synthetic
Sure, Amsoil is probably one of the best out there. Question is, do you really need it?
Amsoil reviews really successful to be honest

@oneninerniner3427 Warranty requires OCI of 6 months or 5k miles, all full synthetics are fine under those conditions.
When I need to switch I’ll use Amsoil but for now sticking with my schaeffers!
There are three: Liqui Moly for European and some Japanese cars, Motul and AMSOIL, period.
Thanks for info mate
yup top 3 engine oils😍❤️❤️ next i want to try liquimoly 😊😊
+1 Amsoil More powers Godbless from 🇵🇭

yes for sure
It's a machine. Put oil in it. Change it once in a while. You'll be fine....and for a lot less than Amsoil charges.

hmmmm

The AI voiceover is laughable 😂
Once again, the AI on this one as well, makes it nearly impossible to listen to, and (in my opinion) does Amsoil a disservice.
This is the worst AI voice I ever heard 😂
Wow horrible video, lose the AI!
