Aggressive Hawke makes me scared, but his toned softened when he spoke of Merrill. At least he is nice to someone!
Inquisitor: any tips on fighting corypheus?
hawke: here take this key-weapon, whenever he starts using a huge spell at the center of the room run to each of the 4 statue's and use the key on it, then kick his ass when he stops casting the spell. That's how we did it in our day at least.

yeah, if you set your da2 file to 3 it does. but when you're just playing it as it is. the guy is depressed as shit. single, lonely, and just unhappy.

Hawke was so under utilised in Inquisition. He literally killed hundreds of blood mages (or) knocked out the templars by himself.
And all he does here is say "oh yeah Warden friend in Crestwood lol"
Hawke is secretly a mage not a warrior, notice how his shield & sword disappeared.

Bioware always let the players decide what is the story they want in Dragon Age so you dont have to stick with a canon storyline.
The canon story they made is simply a random backstory created to fit with DA:I so things could make sense to you even if you didnt play the earlier games.
It doesnt act as a canon.Its more like a "hole cover" story.
I couldn't play as a Dalish or City Elf Mage, it only let me choose Warrior or Rogue for them. I wanted to make a Dalish Elf Blood Mage that was a complete bitch, but the game wouldn't let me. :'(
So is Warrior Hawke a Sword&Shield user? As in, does he always show up in conversations and in combat using it or is it possible for him to show up and use a 2-handed sword? Would seem strange considering I went through all of DA2 with a 2-hander.
Doubly odd since Bioware showed Warrior Hawke with a 2-handed sword in pretty much all the material I've seen for DA2, including character select.
i got both of the games on different accounts so i think that’s why my hawke was different (mine had a sister and wasn’t aggressive also he looks different)
In my next playthrough (if one of these days I finish the 1st one already T_T) I plan to make my hawke, male, agressive (I'm planing on "leaving him behind" because I have to choose between him or alistair (it will be warden with my female mage warden) and... there is no question about who to choose to "leave behind" XD) and what I don't know what to do is if make Varric his friend (again XD) or his "rival" (the keep option thing)... I LOVE Varric, he with Garrus are (I mean as not romance option, great friend characters) fav. characters and... I always HAVE to choose the friend option because... he IS Varric and could NOT, even once make him a rival in any of my playthroughs of DA2, so now that we have the keep and we can play around with the options and all, you know/someone knows if it's really that different or how it is with Varric being rival with Hawke and in the scenes/conversations Hawke related? I don't want to choose rival, and then play X hours and meet Hawke and feel like this is not right and have to play from the begining. :(
You shouldn't worry, I tried importing rivalry with Varric Hawke and haven't noticed any differences, so if there are any, they're really small.

I feel like Inquisition had some weak story lines at some points. I think Hawke deserved a better role in this game. I hope they make a dlc story were Hawke and The Warden team up on a quest because I think those two are way more interesting than The Inquisitor
From my viewpoint, there was no reason the Inquisitor couldn't have been Hawke other than "Hawke isn't liked by the fans".
Assassin's Den Hawke should have been it would make for a better story. Hawke pretty much screwed up Thedas and now he or she has to put the pieces all together. I don't see why people don't like Hawke I think he/she is badass

Hawke represents a game that was subpar when it comes to Bioware standards. (Not my opinion, mind you.)
Well, the fate of the wardens after the Inquisition is practically screaming for DLC as is what we are told about the Warden's wereabouts.
However people missed the choice of first game and thus the inquisitor could not be Hawke. The story line of Inqusition was pretty good in my opinion, especially all the elven stuff, although some parts like the final battle were terribly lazy. Not up to Origins standard but better than most of the RPG's I've played.
Don't get me wrong, Inquisition had a very good story, but some parts of the story were done lazily in my opinion. My main point is that the story writers should have done more with the appearances of past heroes. They could have redeemed Hawke as a character to be more accepted by fans instead of him/her just being someone who tells the player where to go.

Oh, that's a bit of a bummer. I take it it's because of the Dragon Age Keep? I think EA's fight over pirated games/used games is getting a bit overzealous. It's gonna be hard with all the changes to engine and all, I can barely recognize even Alistair.

I noticed that if you choose this line while Hawke supported the templars in DA2 the Inquisitor kinda blames him/her for the rebellion for "slaughtering innocent mages".
I am wondering what will the Inquisitor aggressively say to Hawke if he helped the mages.
Justly a question between all romances u put within a few of your videos u put at least one romance with 1 kind of Hawke with Anders Albeit the romance u put with Fenris was with a female Hawke the romance u put with Merrill was with a male Hawke and the romance u put with Isabela was with a male Hawke a male Hawke romanced Anders as well So then why didnt u put a female Hawke date Merrill or a female Hawke romance Isabela as well
If you keep Alistair and Loghain alive in the Keep who do you meet in Inquisition?
Depends who's a grey warden. If Alistair is a grey warden then he'll be the one you meet, otherwise it's Loghain. If Alistair is the king then you see him when you do down the mages path. If you keeped Loghain alive in DA:O though then I'm pretty sure Loghain is the grey wardern and Alistair is either ruling alone, ruling with the warden, ruling with Anora or exiled and Anora rules alone.
James Buck You meet Loghain unless you killed him and kept Alistair in the Wardens. If Alistair is king and Loghain is dead, Stroud is the Warden

Well, some people like redeeming his character because there's a point in the story where you choose between Grey Warden (Stroud/Alistair/Loghain) or Hawke dying. I'm SO GLAD I made Alistair king because if he had stayed with the Grey Wardens, I would have had to choose between Hawke and Alistair, and I dunno if I could do that... :'(
Because Loghain, for how wrong he was about the Warden, was not a terrible person. Terrible people don't have remorse for the terrible choices they have to make to win a war they think they HAVE to win for their country to survive.
He was winning the civil war before the Landsmeet, so he knew what he was doing.

What boring person would choose Loghain over Alistair?
Loghain was a far more interesting character. What boring person wouldn't choose him, to hear his side of the story?
I hated Loghain my first playthrough. But by the second I appreciated his character and begun to loathe Alistair' s whining and bickering.
I knew from the beginning that there had to be more to Loghain's retreat than just being a dick. So I played through the entire game with the idea that I'll let him speak before deciding his fate. I did and I figured letting him attempt the joining was a good solution. Either he dies right away, or he gets to redeem himself. Later on he made for a good companion and I came to admire him. Now if only Alistair didn't have to be such a big bitch about it...
Veloziraptor111 Exactly why Alistair is hard for me to put up with. He takes everything personally and can't handle the tough desicions you make.
Llort, White Knight 2.0 I did too, but I ended up choosing him over Alistair in my first playthrough anyways.
After the duel, I wanted to convert Loghain into the Wardens because it would be a waste to kill a seasoned warrior on the verge of a big battle with the Archdemon.
To my surprise, Alistair vehemently rejected my proposal and said that he'd even rather become King to ensure Loghain's death/justice after having complained throughout the whole game about not wanting the burden.
I immediately deemed him unfit to rule and was not sad to see him go.
That was until I saw him end up being a drunkard in DA2 and decided to go back and reverse his fate in DAO.
