Tech Tip: you should create an email account for your smart house. That way when you sell the house you just leave everything installed (it will be old), you don't have to change passwords/accounts / etc.

Can you schedule your lock as part of an Alexa routine? Such as a bedtime routine that turns off lights and locks doors at a set time...

Mark Dodge unfortunately not :( with the August skill you have to say “Alexa, ask August to ___” so it’s not available in routines.

i bought one of these ,it jammed on me , and i ended up locked out of my own place. I called customer service and it wasn't anything they could do for me . eventually i had to drill a hole thru the lock to get back into my place. Just warning everyone if you chose to purchase this smart lock just be aware, it tends to jam up on you

@@JPMarie55 nope it wouldn’t budge , come to find out i had the lock installed upside down. You have to use this one upright . I was under the impression that i could use it upside down and then calibrate it to work for my door
