I dont get why you need or use a keypad if it has an auto lock / unlock feature ? Why not just program that and walk away? Or as you approach your house, it auto unlocks....why use a keypad?

Gen 4 burns through expensive CR123 batteries. You need 2 every 4 weeks. I took out three Gen 4 and replaced them with my old Gen 3 plus connects.

Be careful if you buy an August lock second hand. If the previous owner doesn't relinquish ownership, you have an expensive paperweight. August customer service is terrible with this.
