Have you seen WWE 2K20’s graphics? Uncharted 2, a game released and compacted in size for the PS3 alone looks much more realistic and visually stunning, Naughty Dog is revolutionary to this day.

natansh kumar i would recommend it althought it was on ps plus last month. I find uc 1 not good when i play so just keep going until you get to 2, from there the experience should be smoother
@@natanshkumar132 yeah you should. It was free a few months ago. I played the games out of order, and nothing changed, so you can do the same. I recommend starting from 2, then 3 and last uncharted 1. 1 is the worst out of all of them, not to say it's bad, but it's mediocre at best.

Yup, back when developers & publishers were actually passionate about making great AAA games instead of live service garbage cluttered with micro transactions. Christmas 2009 was actually the year I got a PS3. I was stuck with just a Wii & DS before.
I remember getting this game for christmas 10 years ago. I didn't even know what Uncharted was and I wanted to get the game because the cover looked awesome. I wasn't prepared for the crazy and over the top experience that this game truly was.
This was the game that convinced my mom to get me a PS3. We were shopping in Walmart, & the Uncharted 2 Demo was playable in store. My mom saw it, thought it was absolutely amazing, & finally agreed to buy me a PS3 after months of me beginning for one.
That's AWESOME!!!! I wish my mom would agree to get me or let me buy myself a 42 in. TV for when The Last of Us Part 2 comes out! A game THAT good shouldn't be played on a small screen!

I think that Naughty Dog did a great end for such a big franchise that Uncharted is, but neither I can let Nate and the rest of the characters go. I hope that if they do a 5th game with new charecters, the classic ones will appear at least in cinematics

today. 13th october 2019 i completed my first ever playtrough of Among theives(remastered), and it wasent even planned. I just happened to get it for my birthday, and complete it exactly 10 years after release, what a GODDAMN coencidens. On to Drakes deception.
I always laugh when in games like Tomb Raider or Uncharted you search a secret city with puzzles, you go through secret entrances and tunnels just to find a huge shiny city with OPEN SKY where any plane or sattelite could see it :D
that train set piece still hasnt been outdone by any other scripted single-player game moments. unbelievable feeling while playing that for the first time.

Uncharted 2 is one of the few games where you can drop right in, and not feel left out, if you haven't played previous installments. I was given Modern Warfare 3 at an admittedly young age, and without having played the previous two installments, I had no clue about No Russian, or how important Soap was to Captain Price. With Uncharted 2, I knew that, without playing Drake's Fortune, Elena had met Drake, Sully was his mentor, and Flynn & Chloe were supposed to be new to us, but old friends to Nate. It has the best writing of any game in the series, and many would agree. Amy Hennig's work in the first three main installments, as well as Golden Abyss, was the soul of the series, and Uncharted 4 felt empty without her. Lost Legacy, however, felt eerily similar to an Uncharted 2 reboot, even down to the train-hopping fight, cave cities, and paramilitary enemies. I contend that it's what made it so successful - playing to our nostalgia of Among Thieves, while being different enough to not be called out as such. In closing, I feel that Uncharted hit its peak ten years ago, and Naughty Dog is desperate to find a new mountain to climb, perhaps with Cassie in the spotlight of Uncharted 5.
Uncharted 4 is so contrived like where was Sam why did Nathan not mention him to his wife or ever find out what happened to him all those years ago how come Nathan and Sam don't get consequences for their actions and how can Nadine possibly beat up Nathan who routinely kills armed men with melee?
Y nate didn't mention Sam in the previous games is explained after nate falls off the cliff and nadine could beat up nate because he was alot older and out of his prime and nadine was in her prime
I bought this game a few months after release and I’ve never been blown away from playing a videogame ever again, this was on another level. Personally I didn’t enjoy UC4 as much as I wanted to. Uncharted and Killzone are my favorite PlayStation exclusives.
Uncharted 4 sucked so much. So did 3 but not even that much. Maybe my taste in games just changed but they weren't even close to U2. Then again I tried replaying 2 recently and it kinda dragged on in some spots so maybe it's just me

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was my first PS3 game when I purchased one back in 2009. Lucky for me, Uncharted 2 was released not long after I’ve beaten Drake’s Fortune. Out of all of the Uncharted installments, Among Thieves is definitely my favorite of the whole series.
It's incredible how much you and I seem to agree on every aspect of this game. You even manage to verbalize feelings I had about the game but couldn't put words to (the game's natural progression from location to location, Lazaravic being an objectively one-dimensional, yet still utterly compelling villain, also falling off the cliff after the convoy). This game is more important to me personally than I could adequately express in a comment. It goes beyond just a video game, but it had a profound impact on my life and how I grew as a person throughout my adolescence. I don't think any video game, movie, book, whatever will ever be able to top this in my book.
This is the game that really got me started into video games. I first played it a couple of months before Uncharted 3 came out. And then Uncharted 3 came out and the rest is history. This game will always have a special place in my heart. Not only was the multiplayer GREAT, but the single player is still one of the best things I've ever played. ❤️
I miss playing this multiplayer so much. Hours upon hours I played this as a kid after school. I met so many friends that I’m still friends with to this day. It had its own competitive community and that’s what made it great

Actually, the struggle to remain conscious after the fight in the snow amongst the train wreck does make some sense. It could easily be explained with adrenaline.
Goddamnit, Robin, just how do you always make these greats vids? Like, there's just something about them that makes me not want to let go off the screen until it's over, no matter if it is 5 or 45 minutes :) And also, I want to thank you for making this tribute to one of the best PS3 and Uncharted games of the franchise. It really was something different and unique that many gamers like me loved and wanted to experience again on the PS4. When you feel like you have to experience it all again, even if it's the same game, then you know it's one of a kind. Uncharted 2 will be forever remembered. That's for sure :)
I will never forget my dad coming home with a bunch of used games from my Uncle with games like, Assasins Creed, racing games, and Uncharted 2. My dad and I had so many great moments playing that game, from “There’s a guy above you...” joke to playing against each other in multiplayer. This game has been one of the most important things to me and I love to see other people making great videos like this.
10 years ago the first time I played this game. 10 years later I play this game with my 9 yo daughter and she likes it so much. This game never gets old.

I just played uncharted 2 and 3 again in xmas and new year holiday, still super fun for both the fighting and story, and I can’t remember how many times I’ve played this game again and again. Just incredible ❤
UC2 is, probably, the pinnacle of Naughty Dog's achievements. Amy, Bruce, and (not just) Neil where all there, and what they were able to accomplish just TWO YEARS after the release of the first Uncharted is... mind blowing. Current Naughty Dog is a shell of its former greatness, which saddens me greatly as Uncharted is my favorite franchise.
What a fantastic video, I really hope we get to see the cast again with a possible Uncharted 5 starring drake's daughter Cassie. Seeing them all together on the couch at PSX 2017 for the 10th Anniversary made me happy and sad at the same time. You know this series is special when you care about every single character from it and truly appreciate the voice actors who played them.

I still remember being a kid in one of the big electronics stores near my house with my parents and seeing a giant cardboard display for UC2. Drake hanging off the train, with a TV looping one of the trailers. I didn't game yet at that age, but I never forgot about "that game with the guy and the train" until I finally got my chance to play it years later.
This game came out my sophomore year of HS and all my friends save for one had 360s and it had been that way since 8th grade. I used to get s*it on all the time for having a PS3. One night a buddy was staying over and I started a new game of U2. His 3rd 360 (no exaggeration) had just died and he was about to buy a new one. After seeing me play maybe 3-4 hours of the game he was blown away. The next week he got a ps3, U2, and Heavy Rain and later told me save for missing Gears or War he was much happier with the PlayStation and has been ever since. All my friends now have a PS4.
What I love about U2 is how the theme of desperation is present in every part of the game. It really felt like you were on an impossible mission, and anyone could die in the end. Now I know the story front to back I don't really get that feeling anymore, but I remember how special this was to me when I played it for the first time. All these years later this is still the feeling I chase in games. Arkham Knight came really close, with its story that also has a theme of inevitability woven into it.
This game is my first game on my ps3 in I remember in 2014 I play this every day and when I bought a ps4 I bought uncharted 4 and uncharted 1 2 and 3 remaster so happy and excited to play and in the end when I found all the treasures and got my platinum I feel the emptiness I can't choose if I like uncharted 2 or uncharted 4 I love this series but all good things must come to an end thank you Nathan Drake and thank you naughty dog

Great tribute to the game that's still my favorite of all time. Uncharted 2 made me fall in love with gaming, had never experienced a game like that before and it absolutely blew me away in every aspect. Legendary.
I didn't even know about these games back then and was kind of a newbie in gaming at that time, anyway. But I'm sure that this was the greatest game of its time. And as much as I love Uncharted 4, I think this one is still holding the number 1 spot in the series. And, I have to mention this: The "There's a guy above you, there's a guy above you. There's a guy below you, there's a guy below you" is one of my favorite things in the entire Uncharted series.
I went back to play Uncharted 2 the other day and so much of what I did in the first few missions was just muscle memory it was really bizarre but kinda felt like coming back to my childhood.
When that game came out I was working for Sony and they gave me a free copy of uncharted 2 few days before release date... At that moment I have no clue about uncharted... a few days later I just couldn’t stop playing and replaying it over and over again this game has everything

Uncharted 2 was the first game I played in the series when it came out. I was in high school and my friend was playing it one day when I came over and was blown away at how awesome the game looked. He let me borrow it as soon as he finished and I was hooked. It was probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a video game at the time. I enjoyed it so much it was my first platinum on ps3. I then played uncharted 1 to see what I missed out when it came out.
Really remarkeable game, I was 17 when it came out, and I still vividly remenber those times, was a fanboy of Uncharted ever since 2008, and devoured any news and info released on magazines about U2 with immense anticipation, and that first U2 online beta hyped me further cuz not only I could test the improved gameplay, but it also was online, Uncharted ONLINE! And it fit quite in, played that coop beta like crazy (also did comp, but most of my favorite U2 online moments come from coop with friends). That beta was a drug.
This game is very special to me I remember watching my dad play at evening when i was 5 I loved watching him play till i fall asleep and get picked up and tucked in blanket My dad and i still repeat all 4 uncharted games for last 10 years, never gets boring ❤️

@@solidsnake9898 it's a kind of puzzle that you have to actively search the environment for. It doesn't take very long and the story justifies it because they're trying to distract Lazarevic so they can find his research
I freaking love these videos. Uncharted is my favorite game franchise of all time and the eloquent way you talk about these games is as entertaining as the games themselves in my opinion.
I played TLOU for the first time as it was on PS plus this month, and afterwards I bought the Nathan Drake Collection. I started 3 today. I absolutely loved 1 and 2, the latter being absolutely amazing. I really didn't see these games through nostalgia glasses, and the writing, voice acting and pacing are top-notch. They are almost impossible to put down as nothing overstays its welcome. There were probably a couple of moments where I felt "I'm kind of getting tired of platforming/shooting" and just as I was thinking that, I reached another point where I would get more story and then switch to the other gameplay style or even a new setting. I've bought my first PlayStation in March, and I still have so many titles to play from behind, it's amazing. Definitely Naughty Dog and Uncharted 2 are among the best in gaming, forever.

Owning just an Xbox 360 back in 09, I was incredibly envious of PS3 owners thanks to this game. Glad I finally played in 2016 before Uncharted 4.

Uncharted 1 was the first game I played
Uncharted 2 is one of the few games where you can drop right in, and not feel left out, if you haven't played previous installments.
I was given Modern Warfare 3 at an admittedly young age, and without having played the previous two installments, I had no clue about No Russian, or how important Soap was to Captain Price. With Uncharted 2, I knew that, without playing Drake's Fortune, Elena had met Drake, Sully was his mentor, and Flynn & Chloe were supposed to be new to us, but old friends to Nate.
It has the best writing of any game in the series, and many would agree. Amy Hennig's work in the first three main installments, as well as Golden Abyss, was the soul of the series, and Uncharted 4 felt empty without her. Lost Legacy, however, felt eerily similar to an Uncharted 2 reboot, even down to the train-hopping fight, cave cities, and paramilitary enemies. I contend that it's what made it so successful - playing to our nostalgia of Among Thieves, while being different enough to not be called out as such.
In closing, I feel that Uncharted hit its peak ten years ago, and Naughty Dog is desperate to find a new mountain to climb, perhaps with Cassie in the spotlight of Uncharted 5.
Uncharted 4 is so contrived like where was Sam why did Nathan not mention him to his wife or ever find out what happened to him all those years ago how come Nathan and Sam don't get consequences for their actions and how can Nadine possibly beat up Nathan who routinely kills armed men with melee?
Y nate didn't mention Sam in the previous games is explained after nate falls off the cliff and nadine could beat up nate because he was alot older and out of his prime and nadine was in her prime

I bought this game a few months after release and I’ve never been blown away from playing a videogame ever again, this was on another level. Personally I didn’t enjoy UC4 as much as I wanted to. Uncharted and Killzone are my favorite PlayStation exclusives.
Uncharted 4 sucked so much. So did 3 but not even that much. Maybe my taste in games just changed but they weren't even close to U2. Then again I tried replaying 2 recently and it kinda dragged on in some spots so maybe it's just me

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was my first PS3 game when I purchased one back in 2009. Lucky for me, Uncharted 2 was released not long after I’ve beaten Drake’s Fortune. Out of all of the Uncharted installments, Among Thieves is definitely my favorite of the whole series.
It's incredible how much you and I seem to agree on every aspect of this game. You even manage to verbalize feelings I had about the game but couldn't put words to (the game's natural progression from location to location, Lazaravic being an objectively one-dimensional, yet still utterly compelling villain, also falling off the cliff after the convoy). This game is more important to me personally than I could adequately express in a comment. It goes beyond just a video game, but it had a profound impact on my life and how I grew as a person throughout my adolescence. I don't think any video game, movie, book, whatever will ever be able to top this in my book.

This is the game that really got me started into video games. I first played it a couple of months before Uncharted 3 came out. And then Uncharted 3 came out and the rest is history. This game will always have a special place in my heart. Not only was the multiplayer GREAT, but the single player is still one of the best things I've ever played. ❤️

I miss playing this multiplayer so much. Hours upon hours I played this as a kid after school. I met so many friends that I’m still friends with to this day. It had its own competitive community and that’s what made it great
Great job Robin, I haven't played through the main story in quite a long time. Your summation of the big points in the game jarred some good memories on how good the storyline actually was.
Actually, the struggle to remain conscious after the fight in the snow amongst the train wreck does make some sense. It could easily be explained with adrenaline.

Like, there's just something about them that makes me not want to let go off the screen until it's over, no matter if it is 5 or 45 minutes :) And also, I want to thank you for making this tribute to one of the best PS3 and Uncharted games of the franchise. It really was something different and unique that many gamers like me loved and wanted to experience again on the PS4. When you feel like you have to experience it all again, even if it's the same game, then you know it's one of a kind. Uncharted 2 will be forever remembered. That's for sure :)

I will never forget my dad coming home with a bunch of used games from my Uncle with games like, Assasins Creed, racing games, and Uncharted 2.
My dad and I had so many great moments playing that game, from “There’s a guy above you...” joke to playing against each other in multiplayer.
This game has been one of the most important things to me and I love to see other people making great videos like this.

I just played uncharted 2 and 3 again in xmas and new year holiday, still super fun for both the fighting and story, and I can’t remember how many times I’ve played this game again and again. Just incredible ❤
UC2 is, probably, the pinnacle of Naughty Dog's achievements. Amy, Bruce, and (not just) Neil where all there, and what they were able to accomplish just TWO YEARS after the release of the first Uncharted is... mind blowing.
Current Naughty Dog is a shell of its former greatness, which saddens me greatly as Uncharted is my favorite franchise.
What a fantastic video, I really hope we get to see the cast again with a possible Uncharted 5 starring drake's daughter Cassie. Seeing them all together on the couch at PSX 2017 for the 10th Anniversary made me happy and sad at the same time. You know this series is special when you care about every single character from it and truly appreciate the voice actors who played them.

I still remember being a kid in one of the big electronics stores near my house with my parents and seeing a giant cardboard display for UC2. Drake hanging off the train, with a TV looping one of the trailers. I didn't game yet at that age, but I never forgot about "that game with the guy and the train" until I finally got my chance to play it years later.

This game came out my sophomore year of HS and all my friends save for one had 360s and it had been that way since 8th grade. I used to get s*it on all the time for having a PS3. One night a buddy was staying over and I started a new game of U2. His 3rd 360 (no exaggeration) had just died and he was about to buy a new one. After seeing me play maybe 3-4 hours of the game he was blown away. The next week he got a ps3, U2, and Heavy Rain and later told me save for missing Gears or War he was much happier with the PlayStation and has been ever since. All my friends now have a PS4.
What I love about U2 is how the theme of desperation is present in every part of the game. It really felt like you were on an impossible mission, and anyone could die in the end. Now I know the story front to back I don't really get that feeling anymore, but I remember how special this was to me when I played it for the first time. All these years later this is still the feeling I chase in games. Arkham Knight came really close, with its story that also has a theme of inevitability woven into it.
This game is my first game on my ps3 in I remember in 2014 I play this every day and when I bought a ps4 I bought uncharted 4 and uncharted 1 2 and 3 remaster so happy and excited to play and in the end when I found all the treasures and got my platinum I feel the emptiness I can't choose if I like uncharted 2 or uncharted 4 I love this series but all good things must come to an end thank you Nathan Drake and thank you naughty dog

I've just replayed 2 and 3. Among thieves is an absolute masterpiece, I can't quite believe it's 12 year's old.
Cry each time I get to the end of UC2. And this video was made with as much love and passion that it got me at the end as well. Eagerly looking forward to the year 10 video on UC3 and 4.
Great tribute to the game that's still my favorite of all time. Uncharted 2 made me fall in love with gaming, had never experienced a game like that before and it absolutely blew me away in every aspect. Legendary.

I didn't even know about these games back then and was kind of a newbie in gaming at that time, anyway. But I'm sure that this was the greatest game of its time. And as much as I love Uncharted 4, I think this one is still holding the number 1 spot in the series. And, I have to mention this: The "There's a guy above you, there's a guy above you. There's a guy below you, there's a guy below you" is one of my favorite things in the entire Uncharted series.
I went back to play Uncharted 2 the other day and so much of what I did in the first few missions was just muscle memory it was really bizarre but kinda felt like coming back to my childhood.

When that game came out I was working for Sony and they gave me a free copy of uncharted 2 few days before release date... At that moment I have no clue about uncharted... a few days later I just couldn’t stop playing and replaying it over and over again this game has everything

Uncharted 2 was the first game I played in the series when it came out. I was in high school and my friend was playing it one day when I came over and was blown away at how awesome the game looked. He let me borrow it as soon as he finished and I was hooked. It was probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a video game at the time. I enjoyed it so much it was my first platinum on ps3. I then played uncharted 1 to see what I missed out when it came out.
Really remarkeable game, I was 17 when it came out, and I still vividly remenber those times, was a fanboy of Uncharted ever since 2008, and devoured any news and info released on magazines about U2 with immense anticipation, and that first U2 online beta hyped me further cuz not only I could test the improved gameplay, but it also was online, Uncharted ONLINE! And it fit quite in, played that coop beta like crazy (also did comp, but most of my favorite U2 online moments come from coop with friends).
That beta was a drug.

I was born on 2007 my dad was a gamer and was completing uncharted 1 and i used to see it by my interest.
The only part I didn't like, was when you had to plant those bombs with Sully. The rest is pretty great.
Why ? Did you get some sort of mgs 2 bombs being defused on the big shell PTSD with that section

It doesn't take very long and the story justifies it because they're trying to distract Lazarevic so they can find his research
I freaking love these videos. Uncharted is my favorite game franchise of all time and the eloquent way you talk about these games is as entertaining as the games themselves in my opinion.
I played TLOU for the first time as it was on PS plus this month, and afterwards I bought the Nathan Drake Collection. I started 3 today. I absolutely loved 1 and 2, the latter being absolutely amazing. I really didn't see these games through nostalgia glasses, and the writing, voice acting and pacing are top-notch. They are almost impossible to put down as nothing overstays its welcome. There were probably a couple of moments where I felt "I'm kind of getting tired of platforming/shooting" and just as I was thinking that, I reached another point where I would get more story and then switch to the other gameplay style or even a new setting. I've bought my first PlayStation in March, and I still have so many titles to play from behind, it's amazing. Definitely Naughty Dog and Uncharted 2 are among the best in gaming, forever.
