    Those lumpy bits of dirt don't teraform because theres a rock in there. Hit with pick axe and flatten and voila.

    I stumbled onto your channel as I'm preparing to play Valheim for the first time when it comes to Xbox. Vids like this get me excited! Keep up the good content man!

    Very sweet build, to be sure, it makes trolls drool to eat ot up! But TBF... To become " more attuned" to your building items in survival, you have to suffer the pain and effort of acquiring them in survival. Not to discourage, just being as honest as the game is brutal. And respect to all those survival players who build like this or better because they've seriously earned it!!

    You made a very eye-catching thumbnail for this video! I would have preferred to hear you talk more in the video because with the music and building making up most of the content this video is more of a speed-build than anything for people to follow along with (which if that was your idea then definitely advertise these as speed builds!)

    • @bearerofcurses
      @bearerofcurses  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I realize the video doesn’t match up to well I will be working on that in newer videos. I definitely want to talk more about the build as I’m building for sure.

    Building sucks and is very finicky so idk where you're getting the idea it's amazing. The physics don't make sense half the time and sometimes you feel like if only they added a certain floor or roof shape it would be so much better.
    So to me the joy comes from being able to wrangle something that looks presentable using this awful building medium.

    I miss the interior, for example. Garden? Replicated nature? A little barn next to it with some tamed animals? Or a terrace with mead hall style bbq place? Just some idea's. Make it a full and immersive experience; going the extra mile.
    Building from an image is one thing (not that hard, basic stuff (lego's but without the instructions)) but what made me curious is what you would do with what you saw. It isn't in this video :(

    • @bearerofcurses
      @bearerofcurses  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    My problem with this game is just one, if you go overboard and do very big build, you will probably break your entire save one way or another.

      If you wanna go for something better you'd need a very flat surface, alot of supporting beams including stone, wood & metal in your construction. I'm personally playing Valheim just for building as I've finished the game unmoded, now I'm having fun with all kind of castles and builds and there's a mod "ForeverBuild" that allows you to build skyscapers ;)

    Lol. You must have not played Ark or Conan or No Man's Sky because they ALL have much, much, much better building mechanics than Valheim. Valheim has the absolute worst building in any game I've ever played. It's that bad. Let's explore this. First, in order even build you need to not only build a workbench, but it has to be under a roof. What? Why? And then, you can only build in a tiny area. If you want a bigger base then you need to keep building workbenches. It's laughable. Second. There are only a few building pieces. Again, it's a joke. Third. You have to build on flat land. In EVERY other game with building mechanics, when you place a foundation or a floor, the ground auto levels. In Valheim you have to use a hoe that level the ground and that destroys all the grass. So, all of your bases are built in dirt. Lovely. I'm not even talking about the horrendous PS2 or og Xbox looking graphics. They are shockingly bad. Try a real building game fanboy. Unbelievable.
