    Even though you are only cooking sausages it's still interesting to watch your videos for the temperature guidance and how long to cook them for. I would like to thank all the people who have put videos on for various items showing how to cook them and for how long

      Yep, I cleaned my oven the day I ordered my air fryer because I knew would not be using it again. Well, maybe a turkey at Thanksgiving!

    Hi Melanie!were the sausages frozen or refridgerated? as that i assume would change time and temp on how long you need to cook them??

      These were refrigerated. You can make frozen the same way, but add an extra 3-5 minuts to cooking time

    Just finding this now, do you need to have a certain amount of sausages? I usually make like 5 in the morning and want to try this method.

      No need to have certain amount of sausages, it will work the same with 5. Maybe check on them a few minutes earlier to make sure they don’t burn (air fryer cooks a little faster when there is less food in it)

    Isn't non stick spray bad for the air fryer since over time it damages the non stick coat the air fryer has already?

      I’m using it and I’ve had my air fryer for years and it’s fine, but if you’d rather not use the spray you can brush the basket with vegetable oil instead (or just omit the spray altogether)

      I don’t remove casing from individual sausages, it’s edible and not plastic

      I'd add another 5 minutes for frozen, and shake them halfway through the cooking time to make sure they cook evenly

    I don’t think you need that spray . The natural oils of the sausages will stop them from sticking

      @@MelanieCooksRecipes it’s an individual preference I’ve just been to the supermarket today to get some spray . Some products needed some don’t . I definitely think the corn on the cob does need a little bit of spray . The air fryer compared to the deep fat fryer is so much more healthy thank you for all the videos

      Sausages have fat in them that melts out and prevents from sticking, but foods that don't have much fat need spray to keep from sticking. Yes, air fryer is so much healthier then deep frying!

      I haven’t used nonstick spray in my (new) air fryer once. I’ve used it at least 10 times and nothing sticks. (So far.)

      You can shake them halfway if you'd like, but I didn't because they cooked evenly anyway :) Shaking is not necessary for this particular recipe

    All the instructions I have read for air fryers say DON'T SPRAY WITH AN AEROSAL OIL!!!! IT ruins THE TEFLON!
