Yea I gather you’re British, so are we dear, much older than you spring chickens look from your photos, but don’t forget Bangers and Mash n’ mushy peas (old northern fuel) lol. We are well into our sixties so an air fryer is new to us. My wife and myself appreciate your help with the learning curve very much x God Bless
Did my first sausages in the air fryer today. Same sausages as before but so much better taste and texture. Even ‘She Who Must be Obeyed’ has become a convert.
haha well we have been on holiday (got back yesterday) so our air fryer hasn't been used for just over 2 weeks. That must be a record for us. Will be going on soon though!
Depends on the size, usually the chicken sausage is a bit thinner, so wouldn’t require as long, but if they are the same thickness then the time and temp should be fine, if they are thinner just keep checking every few minutes 🙂
Hi Nancy, we have the Philips air fryer XL, quite an old one to be honest and the new version can be found on Amazon or search there website for the newer version. We also own a Cosori which we have not used yet and a Philips XXL which most people do not have so do not use it. Our first air fryer was a Philips about 10 years ago i believe and we cannot complain, we have never had any of the 3 Philips air fryers break on us and with us using it everyday for work and life it gets more use than the average air fryer would at home :) I forgot about the Power air fryer oven we have and the light on that broke within 3 months with limited use! We still use it especially for the rotisserie that it can do but you cannot see the meat too well!
@celestialteapot309 not a brand we have heard of. Though some brands are not experienced with the air fryer so probably don't know what it can do or can't do.
Why are the sausages 16 minutes in total in this video ? However 8 minutes in all your other non frozen sausage videos. Is it due to the large amount of sausages in the air fryer ? At most the sausages in your sausage and chips video. Suggest putting them in at most 11 minutes.
It’s due to a lot of sausages been in the air fryer and they were thicker than most of our other sausages. Plus these were done for longer because a reader has asked us to do them really brown like a bbq. Generally thin sausages are 8-9 mins and thick ones are 12 and for the brown barbecue look 16 mins
Sausages like that would be great in an Ulster Fry. Potato bread, soda, etc. Need to to make changes as existing 26 year old cooker is essentially dead. I want to create a cooking area for air fryer, small oven / grill and two burner ring. Extra space for food preparation and storage for gadgets when not required. Thanks

I just got mine. I must say, I am amazed at the variety of things you can cook in one.
I bought one 9L from aldi for only 69.99😊
Thanks Samantha. I'm doing turkey sausies today.
4:35 onwards - reflection in the airfryer of the dog arriving - no doubt could smell them and wanted a treat.
Yep. We have a boxer and she can always smell the sausages or bacon
4:35 Doggo knows they're ready!
Thank you
Can i sprinkle a little bit of oil on the sausages?
I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are using very low fat sausages
Totally agree! We both love sausages and I won't cook them any other way now.
The air fryier must first preheated at 180 °Celsius and then you put in the sauseges or not ?? Please advise.... Thanks
@@giuseppecasara1143 apart from a handful of recipes where the temperature is important no preheat needed
Thanks....my sausages were great 👍
What temperature did you cook them in the air fryer ?
I would recommend 180c or 360f for af sausages
Thanks for sharing, your videos.
Glad you like them! :)
Simple and straight to the point. Thank you.
You’re welcome and enjoy!
Did you coat the sausages with oil?
No enough fat in the sausages to brown them
Can you do bacon and sausages together at the same time
You sure can
Thank you for making life easy :)
You’re very welcome x
Same time and temp for chicken sausages?

@@Recipethis Awesome thanks, going to try tonight!!

Add water to the bottom of the fryer and you won't get smoke
Or use a clean air fryer
@@sorryrocco EXACTLY! I was about to comment on how dirty the Airfryer was that she was about to use
@@blu3krystal958 hahaha i know
Just about to cook my sausages in the air fryer for my tea, I'm afraid they are Richmond, hope they don't smoke to much.
Did they smoke ?
My air fryer tells me not to fry sausages due to grease creating white smoke.
Please tell me which brand it us?
