  • Hello! Welcome back and if you are new we are glad to have you. Today we are cooking breakfast sausage links. I was a fan of Hormel sausage links in the frozen food section but they are hard to find. So I was a little intimidated about sausage links in a casing. Now I am a fan. So I can have Ihop and Denny's at home. So lets get to cooking!!

“One thing you have to be when cooking is patient, if you're patient everything will turn out just the way you want." Love that Sandy! Everything looks delicious!

I think poaching off or boiling off the sausages is a great way - so forgiving and it's great as you can take out the poached ones you're not gonna plate that day and they can hit the fridge and just turn into brown and serve on another day. I really like this lady - cooks with heart and sweetness.

I questioned myself when cooking these…. rather I was cooking them right. I wasn’t too far off, but I’m gonna try this method next time

Hi. Thank you for the video. I haven’t cooked uncooked sausages in ions. So came here. I usually buy the cooked Jimmy deans.

I have a bunch of cast iron pans and skillets and I’ve never seen one of those. I need to add the sausage skillet to my arsenal

I boil my sausages now, always turns out perfect, never burned or shrunk or dried out, but thoroughly cooked. Thank you.

Very nice! I thought about water but just needed to be sure. I kept burning the skin off and very messy.

Hey Mrs Sandy. I never tried it that way on the skillet. I usually put it in the toaster oven. But with my hot dogs I boil them on a high heat about 10 minutes then I take them out and I put them in the oven and let them cook in there 250 degrees about 15 minutes slow. I will try that with the link for sure thank you for sharing Blesssings to you and to yours 🙏🏽☺️😁

Hi! How long would you say these take to cook? Love the video by the way, very helpful!

It shouldn’t take no longer than 10 minutes just keep turning them.

Do I need to remove the "skin" from the sausage first?
