The cat with butterflies on it. Artist Laurel Burch. She passed away in 2007. She was an artist with Osteopetrosis. Her story is very inspiring and moving. Cats were her favorite. ❤️❤️❤️

$20 on the rooster is a great price. Even if its new. Check Amazon you would pay around $80 for one similar to that.

The capodimonte was made by master Nino from Italy. He was brought to America by Busch Garden's in Williamsburg VA. He worked at Busch for years, then set up his own shop. He taught a number of apprentices, who continue his work today. I'm amazed how far his work had traveled.

Omg the rose medallion! A couple of weeks ago I found a serving tray, 8 saucers, 7 salad plates, and a top to a small bowl. All were priced as a set for $24.99 and I just about died!!

The silver duck is from the early 80's, it's a money box that had a key to unlock it from the bottom and would have came with a matching beanie 😀 I have one that was given to me by my late grandmother ❤️❤️❤️
Nice haul girlfriends, you really did well today which is always grand to see. It always cheers me no end when you find lots of goodies, and I always look forward to seeing what you might find. Yesterday was hilarious, because it was my 40th wedding anniversary and both my hubby and I forgot it completely. We can be excused tho because yesterday my cousins finally arrived and dug out the foundation for our new house. I guess I will have to call it my anniversary present. The carpenters are happily pounding away at the footing forms as I type this and I couldn't be more delighted, but ooooh the dust! See you soon on the haul video. The cat with the butterflys on it looks like a Laurel Burch piece. She painted very colorful cats, dogs, horses, on all kinds of items and a lot of cotton fabric. She died a few years ago, but her children are keeping her company going.

Thank you for looking at the cottage teapot! It’s not true cottageware, as you knew and put it back. The real stuff is often made by Price Kensington. It’s mostly made in England, but you can find the occasional Japan made cottageware. Love it!

Love your goodwill hauls. That holly plate you thought was Lefton, is actually a 1970/1980 ceramics project. I made one mid seventies with my mom in ceramics class. She may still have it. 😊I love your new sunglasses. Very 80’s Madonna looking. Lol!

Oh my goodness! So I was there a day or two before but know nothing about lamps. As I'm watching this video, I realize I should have purchased that lamp. I even took a picture of it. So happy it went to you!
It's called Bristol glass - that was the term Jocelyn was trying to recall - or satin glass, and some of them are very valuable. This one would be worth a lot more if it were part of a pair, but it a nice piece nevertheless. If you took a picture of it, that tells me your instincts are good - maybe next time you should take a gamble... :-)
