- Sue and I began the day searching for a new weekly restaurant. It was a semi-success. We then went to Community Aid where we ran into a lovely couple who drove all the way from Kentucky to maybe bump into us on a Thursday--and they did. So we dragged them around shopping with us all day.

I went to a garage sale on Saturday - bought a couple of music boxes for $1 each - got home - turned them over - Otigiri - and I'm so excited - thanks to Sue and Jocelyn - I am beginning to recognize the names. Lots of good information here - I'll be following Sue too! Thanks guys!

We had a hanging light over our dining room table just like that joke lamp shade, when I was a kid in the 70's. I believe my mother painted ours orange to go with our avocado appliances and harvest gold table. :)

Incase anyone didn’t know, that Makers Mark glass in the beginning is from Makers Mark Bourbon. It looked like that because it was make to look like the bottle which has a signature red wax covered top. I thought it would be a cool Halloween glass.
My favorite find was that afghan!
I like corning ware because they are lightweight and sturdy. When you have Rheumatoid Arthritis with pain in the wrist, hand and fingers, it's helpful to use corning ware.
I want that locker thing for my entry way! Gloves, hats dog leases etc. ❤️

Laura Werley agreed! Most of the Goodwill stores around here are sooo expensive. We have a St Vinny’s store in the next town but the hours are the same as my work hours so I can ever go there. Ugh...

I saw the lockers in a furniture store few years back and yes it was for a boys room. I remember my sister and I laughed because we thought we smelled boys locker room. lol This is great to store stuff in a boys room.

How fun to run into your fans. OH,,,I would say yes on the salt and pepper shakers for all us strange people. Love that.. Ya'll did really good. They sure have some great things to buy. I really owe you both so much. I found at goodwill a Murano figurine in lavender and signed for 3.99 and I sold for 78.00. I'm over the moon. Thanks for helping me learn about what to look for. All this is helping me. I also scored at a garage sale with 30's figurines and sold one that paid for the other 5 I purchased. Love you girls!!!

Jocelyn, I know you don’t go for the Corning Ware or Corelle, but when you say you find the butterfly gold all the time and you don’t pick them up, that kills me!! Pick them up and list them, I’ll buy them! I’m trying to recreate the set my grandma had when I was growing up. I want them!!

I really needed that plate you picked up after you were talking to Todd. It was white with four small grouping of flowers around the edge. It matches the set my grandma had. I now have the gravy boat and I love the set. You put the plate back, but if you ever find another let me know. I will buy a complete set one piece at a time.
